EXCLUSIVE POST "DESTINATION X" INTERVIEW WITH SCOTT STEINER
By Ross Forman

Don’t worry, Scott Steiner’s multitude of “Freaks” are doing just fine. He didn’t want any of them ringside when he arrived in TNA Wrestling on March 12 at the end of Destination X.

The one who needs to worry, though, is Sting … because Steiner is determined to end his career for good, not just leave him bruised, battered and demoralized – as was the case at the end of the pay-per-view.

“I killed him, destroyed, as usual. What did you expect?” Steiner said in his first post-match interview. “Jeff (Jarrett) called and wanted me to beat someone up. I of course didn’t have a problem doing that; I never have a problem knocking someone’s teeth down their throat. Especially when he told me who.

“In fact, I told Jeff I’d do it on my dime, that he didn’t even have to pay me.”

The Sting-Steiner feud dates back several years and obviously is no where near resolution. If anything, Steiner’s antics at Destination X, coupled with Jarrett’s out-of-ring antics of late, could no doubt force Sting to take more drastic action.

And not a minute too soon, fans are saying.

“Sting and I are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum,” Steiner said. “He loves the fans and wants them to cheer for him. I of course could care less about the fans. I don’t like rednecks; I don’t like white-trash – and that’s basically 98 percent of the wrestling audience.

“Beating up Sting was easy. In fact, I barely broke a sweat.”

Steiner had surgery on his left foot in July 2004, and then spent about eight months in a cast. He had six screws put in, and a tendon transfer.

“The foot never will be 100 percent, but nothing is ever 100 percent after surgery,” Steiner said. “But does it look like I have a flaw? Does it look like I was missing a step? I don’t think so; that’s why I’m a Genetic Freak.”

When asked if he signed a long-term TNA contract, Steiner simply said he’s around, “for the pure enjoyment of beating up Sting,” and said he’d linger around the iMPACT! Zone “as long as I need to, to get the job done.”

Steiner said he “felt as good out there as I’ve ever felt.”

Better than ever?

“That’s hard to happen, but I’d say yes,” he said.

Steiner warned Sting allies to stay clear, or fear the wrath of the largest arms in the world. “I’ll beat them up too … because that’s what I do,” he said.

lol I appreciate the fact though that TNA is trying to push Steiner as a megaheel unlike WWE's face flop.

:-\ Dunno. The best thing about the Big Poppa Pump character was that hewas basically insane and just didn't give a fuck. It's grea tthat he's being used as a heel, but as JJ's lackey he's not that interesting. But w'll see how it plays out.

I think this is great, they are using him as JJs lackey for now but already setting the wheels in motion for him to turn on Jarrett.

Awesome stuff.

I think Steiner playing a heel could well be the most unlikely Uberface in wrestling history.

As long as Steiner can still do his stuff in the ring and is motivated enough to do some good shit with TNA, it could be a good thing.

Of course it would be better if some other talent got pushed but hey. As long as he turns on JJ in the end .

You mean like they do for every other JJ lackey?

A lot of people complained about Steiner being TNA's new talent...but you have to admit (or at least I do) that I am certainly going tune in to see how he does.

Oh and the being JJ's stooge bitch is the oldest most warn out TNA angle ever. Hell I am shocked they didn't bring Christian in as JJ's woman.

.....how old is TNA? old enough to get worn out storylines already?
