Very interesting back in those days for those anxious to know who would win the tourney. Great tag title match between Demolition and Strike Force and a good 15 min draw between Jake and Rude. Bret turning face was memorable at this WM. However some of the tourney matches felt rushed and I wish Dibaise and Savage had a 20 min final match instead of a 9 min match. I also was mad as they teased a Steamboat/Savage 2nd rd match but Valentine pulled off a shocking upset on Steamboat.

Wow...which show were you guys watching? The crowd was absolutely dead, the matches were fairly bad, and the booking was completely screwed up: Hogan/Andre double DQ was a huge disappointment, we didn't get Savage/Steamboat II because Steamboat was on the outs with Vince and he didn't want them to steal the show, and Savage's first title win was *of course* overshadowed by the Hogan run-in.

Not the worst WM ever...but close...

I'll agree with the venue site and crowd dead. After 93,000 at the Sliverdome you go to Trump Plaza

9 I really liked it myself.

The only dissapointment was Savage going over in the final

I really enjoyed this show back in the day,it's still on of my fav's. Bu it really didn't go over in it's day and it really doesn't stand the test of time. Giving all of that, 6.

The Randy Savage show. I enjoyed this one. Got to see the Ghetto Blaster heard round the world. Love that move. Demo/Strike Force was great. I liked HTM's cheap win over Beefcake. And Savage winning the belt is always good.

7.9

5.5 Really long and really bad... not any good matches that I can think of... It could have been great, it should have been a 16 man tournament... way to many short shitty matches.
