-- Tajiri has agreed to appear at this year’s ECW One Night Stand PPV.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
As for the SmackDown taping tonight, announced for the taping is the last slot in the Money In The Bank ladder match will be filled. It has been speculated that Carlito will crash the match and get the spot. He was seen speaking to Teddy Long at SNME. WWE are also teasing questions from what happened at SmackDown and WWE Saturday Night?s Main Event.

Good to see Tajiri coming back for ONS 2.
As for the Carlito rumor, I really don't think this will happen, he already has a match for the Tag Titles, but it wouldn't be the first time someone has pulled double duty. It could also lead to a Masters/Carlito fued, if Carlito is too exhausted from MITB to participate in the tag match, or if he just abandons Masters.

Should I have posted this in the headlines forum? I'm just used to posting it here. Work the mod magic if you need to move it.

So first Kurt Angle enters a SmackDown! Battle Royal and wins, and now Carlito. I hope it doesn't happen, but the more I think about it, the more likely it seems.
Carlito & Chris Masters received their World Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania because Masters helped out Vince McMahon. If Carlito jumped to SmackDown! and Masters needed a tag team partner, the match makes about as much sense. The title shot is really Masters', not Carlito's.
It would be fun to guess who gets to fill in for Carlito as Masters' partner. There's Brent Albright from OVW. They teamed as "The Troubleshooters" down there, and won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship. I suppose it could be a member of The Spirit Squad. They are amigos of Vince McMahon as well. Kenny could really use some WrestleMania wins early in his career. The guy's only 19, in ten years he will be 29 and have a possible 10-0 record at WrestleMania.
With all the influx of talent recently, it could easily be someone like Test, Chuck Palumbo, Mark Jindrak or Aaron Aguilera. If Aguilera has signed with the WWE, and they want to bring back his past of being Carlito's "associate", he could be "assigned" by Carlito as Masters' new tag team partner. If it's someone like Test or Chuck Palumbo, I think a loss or more likely than a win, though.

I bet Lashley wins the Battle Royal...Carlito and Masters win the Tag Titles...and while it's fun to see Tajiri every now and again, I would rather they spend their time trying to get actual icons of ECW to show up to the event.

Bobby Lashley is where the smart money is. Unless they have him take place in some kind of thrown together Battle Royal or challenge MNM for the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania. I don't really like the idea of Ric Flair, Finlay & Bobby Lashley all being in a Ladder Match, though. It just doesn't seem right. They'll probably prove me wrong, though.

Nah, they need to do the slow build with Lashley. Spend the next year and a half building him up as a monster.

Oh, I agree 100%, it's just they have nothing left planned for Lashley. I think a Battle Royal is actually the smarter way to go. Gets all the talent on the show, and Lashley looks like a monster if he wins.
Maybe Lashley will be traded to RAW for Carlito? The rumours have been saying Carlito might enter the match, so why not have Long actually trade for Carlito, making Carlito look good, because although Long has had problems with him, he would still give away one of his brightest to have him back? Bobby Lashley can then team-up with Chris Masters to take on Big Show & Kane at WrestleMania. Lashley can mention that it was because of Kane he was eliminated first from the Survivor Series Elimination Match the previous year, and he was eliminated from the Royal Rumble by Kane & Big Show.
Chris Masters & Bobby Lashley as World Tag Team Champions may seem to pull the trigger on a heel turn for Lashley, but you can justify his reasons for teaming with Masters, not because he likes Masters, but because he wants to prove himself against Kane & Show. Having Masters & Lashley as World Tag Team Champions also allows them to be sort of split as far as crowd reaction goes. People can cheer Lashley, but they can boo Masters, so you can get the most out of your mini-tag division on RAW by having them change style depending on their opponents.
If I had a choice, though, Lashley would cost Finlay his spot in the MITB Ladder Match by costimg him a match to Paul Burchill. Make the "Last Chance" Battle Royal only for wrestlers who have held titles before, so Burchill goes to long and gets special permission to challenge one of the current participants for their spot. Have Hardy & the winner of the Battle Royal do the same in future weeks. Finlay cuts a promo on Burchill talking about how he takes this sport seriously, which leads to Finlay getting embarassed when he loses.
Finlay takes on Lashley at WrestleMania, with the possibility of a rematch with Burchill. Paul London wins the "Last Chance" Battle Royal, and is challenged by his partner, Brian Kendrick (who couldn't enter the match due to him not ever holding gold in the WWE). London retains his spot, but signs off the #1 Contender's spot for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship to his best friend. Matt Hardy successfully defends his spot against some heel cruiserweight.
