There was a post relating to the returning talent and how they should for a stables (or stables), but I'm too lazy to dig it up. Anyway, I'm going to apply some kind of "rule of return" here, and that all the superstars that were on RAW when they were released will go back to RAW now that they're re-hired, just for arguement's sake.
So we have Test, Chuck Palumbo, Mark Jindrak, Charlie Haas, Aaron Aguilera (if original rumours are to be believed), Jamal & Shannon Moore on the way back. Test, Chuck Palumbo & Jamal go to RAW; Mark Jindrak, Charlie Haas, Aaron Aguilera & Shannon Moore to SmackDown!. Now, some people have talked about an "anti-WWE stable". I've been thinking about this, and it might be a more interesting way to re-introduce talent rather than just infusing them within the current roster.
The WWE has another man under contract, who was originally speculated to be returning in the role of a manager to 3 Minute Warning. Eric Bischoff is still officially under contract. Why not use him, if only for his promo skills and getting the guys over?
Eric Bischoff comes out on RAW one night during a Vince McMahon promo (maybe have him gloating about how he beat Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania). Vince McMahon says that he fired Bischoff and he has no business being here. Bischoff says that Vince only fired him as RAW General Manager, and that Eric Bischoff is still officially under contract until such and such a date, so he's going to rage war on the WWE while he can. Bischoff says Vince McMahon has gone overtime with his little speech...by roughly...three minutes. Rosey & Jamal then jump through the crowd attack someone who can be standing in there with Vince. Maybe The Spirit Squad?
Vince tries to punish 3 Minute Warning, but Test & Chuck Palumbo make their debuts in the following weeks to help each other out.
On SmackDown!, a similiar thing happens with Shannon Moore, Charlie Haas, Mark Jindrak & Aaron Aguilera. Eric Bischoff joins the commentary tabe constantly, being protected by either Aguilera or Jindrak against Tazz. Bischoff promises that there are more people within the WWE who would be happy to make a mark with Bischoff over the next few months, and they will reveal themselves shortly.
On RAW, we get Rene Dupree & Danny Basham as troops for Bischoff. Both have just re-signed with the company, and they can use the excuse they haven't been given a chance on the main roster on a long time. On SmackDown!, Doug Basham makes a similiar claim.
Now, I know some people may cringe at the mention of the name, but I could see them using the "nWo" name for this. Just because Bischoff has a huge part to do with it in WCW. If not, just call them "Revolution" or something like that.
Think it would work, or would it fail miserably?
