My idea on how to change/ make the feud more interesting

Monday night comes around and Vince and Cena are preparing for the match the whole night. Vince prepares by gathering with HHH and Shane and plotting on how to get Cena. Cena prepares by doing absolutely nothing.. relaxes in his dressing room.. laughing and goofing around as if he's got it in the bag.

The match happens and after taking it easy on Vince the whole match, Cena hit the FU and basically showboats around over the laid out body of Vince. After another FU, Shane and HHH run in and destroy Cena. Van Terminator by Shane.. Pedigree by HHH. Hunter leaves the ring to go get a slegdehammer, but suddenly, Vince calls him off. saying that he wants Cena semi healthy for WM and that he wants Cena to have no excuses.. the better man will win Sunday.

Sunday @ WM
HHH is shown throughout the night talking with the McMahons about how he's going to destroy Cena. The Mcmahons talk about how they're going to screw him out of the title. Cena throughout the whole night, is still relaxed and unconcerned. Match time: maybe 1/3 of the way through the match, you have a ref bump and a Shane run in with a chair. Going after Cena he accidentally hits HHH. Cena pushes Shane out of the ring and beats HHH repeatedly with the chair. Shane is on the outside of the ring screaming for a new ref and gets one.. he demands that Cena be DQ'ed for the chair use. Since the new ref didn't see it, he can't do it. HHH regains control of match and after a double clothesline, both men are down. Vince comes down and while Shane on the apron Vince throws a sledgehammer in the ring. Cena grabs it and while attempting to use it, kick.. pedigree... 1, 2 ... Vince pulls the ref out of the ring and knocks him out.

HHH looks up, and now he gets it. He goes after Vince who after running around the ring runs into it, where Cena is waiting with the sledgehammer. He absolutely levels Huter with it. The original ref revives just in time to see the FU on Hunter. 1..2..3 Cena retains to the shock and horror of all.

Raw: Next Night
Show opens. Vince, Shane and Cena come out. Vince talks about how he didn't get to where he was being stupid. And letting HHH win the title would have been a stupid idea. He says he's no fool and that Cena is the future of the company and HHH is merely the past. He continues that Cena is going to make him millions. Vince also says that because of this its in his best interests to make sure Cena stays on top.

Cena gets on the mic, showered with boos. Cena talks about the boos.. he's heard them and he doesn't really care. See, the fans didn't appreciate him and that's fine because they're ignorant assholes. Vince is right, he is the future of the company, and he's glad Vince realized it. Cena says that he doesn't really care if the fans boo him, because like Vince said, there's millions to be made out of the situation, and quite frankly since the fans wont appreicate him, he won't do it for the fans, he'll merely do it for himself.

HHH music hits and you have Hunter challenging for a rematch, but of course is denied. He's told that if he wants a rematch, he'll have to beat the big Show and Kane in a handicap match that night. Miraculously, he succeeds, setting up a hell in the cell at backlash for the wwe title with shane as the special ref.

You go wherever you'd like from there
This keeps the belt on Cena but turns him heel, keeping his character fresh, plus change the entire direction of the feud. You could have tweener HHH and should you decide to put the belt on him @ Backlash, you could have him go heel saying F the fans, like i said.. this one was for me. Especially cause face HHH is kinda boring.

Thoughts?

That would be a pretty cool idea, except you would wipe out most of his fanbase (13 year old girls) and those of us who have turned on him for being so cheesy might not jump on his bandwagon just yet. Rep for coming up with the idea.

I like it, but post-WrestleMania it gets kind of overbooked, I think. Maybe it would be better to write Vince McMahon out of the storyline by having Stephanie McMahon come forth and tell Vince that the baby is Triple H's, and that if Vince & Shane really care about the McMahon family, they will leave this between Cena & Hunter.

As wise as it would be to turn Cena heel, I really don't think it should be against HHH. HHH is much better as a heel than as a face (or at least when he acts like a heel), and having him be the anti-hero would be sort of weird.

On the other hand, I really like the idea of Cena playing the new version of the corporate champ. He really does work better as a heel, so the idea is good in that sense. It's just that to me, it's choosing to do something bad to do something good, which has me conflicted.

I like the idea. I had a similar one in which Cena would get a babyface clean win over HHH, and the crowd would obviously be a mix of boos and cheers. The only difference is that I'd have Cena cut a really nasty heel promo on the audience immediately after the match saying he doesn't give a damn about them and now that the King of kings is out of the picture....long live the King! I obviously didn't put as much thought into it as you did. Rep.

HHH has the Game as a face is terrible.

Triple H as a babyface is an obstacle the WWE needs to get around, which is why I think they should end this feud immediately post-WrestleMania.

True, another direction is you could give HBK a dominating win over Mcmahon at WM, and when HBK goes to brag about his win over Vince, a still bruised and bitter Vince sicks his "franchise" on HBK.. leading to what could be a good feud with Cena and HBK

This is a money maker. Shawn Michaels plays the face role really well, and although he is asking for a reduced schedule, HBK can turn Cena into a bonafided heel better than anyone.
