View Full Version : Should MNM move to RAW?

I'm just looking at the anorexic Tag situation on RAW and they are arguably the best in WWE today. They keep improving everytime I see them. I guess the only problem is, who would they feud with on RAW? Carlito and Masters would be a good feud, but how long will WWE keep them together? Do you think they'd get over on RAW? Last time they had a mixed brand match against the Show and Kane, they got squashed and had very little crowd reaction from what I remember. I mean, they even hinted at a Melina/Trish feud back then, but nothing came of it. That would add another female to the weak women's division too. Problem is they'd leave a gaping whole in Smackdown. What do you guys think?

So what yo're proposing is that we fuck one tag team division in order to give the other a second tag team?

sad fact is there are really only 4 tags i see on TV (RAW, Smackdown!)
MNM
Show/Kane
Carlito/Masters
Kendrick/London
Gymini, Venus/Vis really dont count (IMO) cause you dont see them as often on National TV
Sadly i see no bright future...Tag Teams aren't as alive during the E&C/Hardyz/Dudleyz Fueds...Shit even La Reistance was good cause of the role it could play in the Tag Division

Is it correct to use the word "anorexic" in reference to Kane and the Big Show?

Quite frankly, with the state of both tag divisions in the WWE, they may as well just get rid of one and just focus on one show's. Once they build that up with legit tag teams they could resplit the division and the titles into both brands.

I adore MNM so much, which shouldn't be a secret to anyone.
I...think that they should stay on Smackdown. This is all from my point of view, but MNM is one of the few reasons I actually watch Smackdown. It's been getting better, don't get me wrong. But the last thing Smackdown needs is to lose any of the starpower they have.
Although MNM on Raw would own. So I think I'm with Xero on this one. Only keep one division of tag teams for a while, and when it becomes strengthened again, have a rebirth of sorts.

They're both fucked already. I have no idea why they stopped the potential feud with the Mexicools, they had some entertaining matches. Right now MNM is wasting away waiting for WWE to pair up Matt Hardy with the flavor of the month. Just thought I'd see what peoples opinions are.

Yeah, I like this idea. If both shows don't have enough depth for a decent Tag Division, then why not just combine all of them on one show? MNM would be a good start, in my opinion....maybe the Mexicools too. It's a shame when the best Tag Team (arguably) in the WWE isn't even part of Mania. Anything has to be better than what we're stuck with now.

What they should do is move the tag division to one show. They don't make enough teams to fill two shows (even though they could if they.. ya know.. tried).

ah, shit, that's what I get for replying w/o reading replies. Sorry Xero!
I've been saying they should put the tag titles on one show for over a year now and it seems like the best idea in a lot of peoples books (except WWEs) who knows, IF they do a post WM draft and IF they have the sense maybe they'll do it!

Let's just say for argument's sake that Carlito and Masters win at Mania and Kane/Big Show go back to singles (which they are anyway). There's a decent Division with: (Feel free to add whoever)
Carlito/Masters
MNM
The Mexicools
London/Spanky
Hardy/Moore
The Bashams
(fantasy pairings)
Goldust/Boogeyman
Sylvan/Conway
I'd even like to see Flair and Regal (The Dirtiest Players in the Game)
All I want is a little effort WWE....is that too much to ask?

I was actually going to make a similiar topic to this one. Melina can apparently wrestle, so why she isn't helping out the Women's Division is beyond me. The same goes for Jillian Hall. If Shelly comes up from OVW to be with Paul Burchill, you basically have a replica of RAW's Women's Divison. On RAW you have Trish Stratus, Mickie James & Victoria. On SmackDown! you'd have Shelly, Jillian Hall & Melina. With Trinity supposedly coming to SmackDown!, and with Beth probably coming up with Aaron Stevens, you could potentially have a stronger Women's Division on SmackDown!.
The WWE needs to sort this shit out. Have Jillian Hall turn on JBL at WrestleMania, claiming she is more than just a woman. Have MNM give an open challenge to a RAW team, have them lose, then have an interpromotional match for the titles sometime, with the RAW team winning. MNM go over to RAW to chase their WWE Tag Team Championship (which would then be unified with the World Tag Team Championship).
You really don't have any team on SmackDown! beyond MNM. There's The Gymini, but they are still learning the ropes. There's The Mexicools, but both guys are also considered cruiserweights. The same goes for Paul London & Brian Kendrick. With more room on SmackDown!, the Cruiserweight Division could grow into a credible entity.
RAW's tag team division looks shit even with MNM there. I think the WWE really needs to come up with a plan for this shit.

Agreed. Doug & Danny work well together, just don't pass them off as twins. Have them slowly develop their own images. Put them on RAW. It might be seen as a step backwards, but sticking Rob Conway & Sylvan back together may not be a bad idea, either. The two have held the World Tag Team Championship three times, which certainly isn't bad.

I totally miss their "switch outs" in matches. Great heel move if you can pull it off. Had they been established better as heels...

Gymini will do that now.
On Velocity.
Or something.
