What do you all think of it so far?
When I first heard about it being turned into a television show, I was really skeptical about it. I enjoyed the comic strips a lot (one of the few I actually read), but when the show came here, I was blown away.
Seems like this show can make you go from cloud nine joy to rock bottom depression in a split second. The Ruckus White Heaven episode was great, and I was ROFL all the way through it, up until the end where Huey was praying on the hill. I love how this show can be so humorous, yet so insightful at the same time.
I enjoyed all of the first season, except I thought a few of the episodes were vastly overrated. Sure, the ones I'm speaking of are still great, but I found many others to be better (Didn't really care for the Granddad/Crystal one that much, except for a Pimp Named Slickback).
I'd have to say my three favorite episodes of the season were the "White Heaven" one (season finale), the one where Ed and Rummy try to kidnap Oprah, and probably the one about Gangstalicious, just because it was so crazy.
So yeah. Discuss the greatness that is the Boondocks here.
