I just got ahold of this wrestling event and man, it was the craziest thing I've ever seen. I don't think I could ever put my body through that shit, even if a hated myself, I still don't think I could do it.

Such wrestlers involved were Terry Funk, Cactus Jack, Terry Gordy, Tiger Jeet Singh, Mr. Gannosuke, Shoiji Nakamaki, Leather Face & Hiroshi Ono. All of these guys bleed and bleed and bleed.

Some of the weapons involved was a barbed wire baseball bat, ladders, swords, chains, barbed wire rope, lots of chairs, beds of thumbtacks, beds of plate glass, barbed wire boards, barbed wire explosive boards. It was absolutly nuts!

One spot that is always replaying in my mind is when Cactus Jack had his head across the bed of thumbtacks, then Terry Gordy stomped on his head and you could see a whole whack of thumbtacks sticking out of the side of Cactus Jack's face. Also a running powerbomb onto a bed of thumbtacks, falling off the top of the ladder onto barbed wire ring ropes, it was just the craziest stuff I've ever witnessed.

Some of the Japanese wrestlers had horrid scars on their foreheads from nonchalant blading. It was just over the top hardcore stuff.

What do you guys think of it?

*Cactus Jack won the King of the Death Match Tournament for those of you wondering...... also does anyone know what some of the wrestlers payoffs were?

You can get it off E-Bay fairly easily. It's really good for hardcore wrestling fans. One of my best tapes.

people without even shirts falling on piles of tacks. That is insane.

I think the pay off was something in the region of $250 a match for Foley

Foley didn't even get all the money he was promised.

Really? That would suck so much, going through all that hell and then not being paid all the money.

Just as a side note, last year there was a second King of the Deathmatch Tourney, held (I think) by CZW. Needless to say, it was utter garbage, and not even the good kind of garbage that Foley and Funk brought.
