Is it too late to add one more match to the card? Thing is the line-up is pretty lacklustre so far, they don't have that HUGE match that WrestleMania usually does.

Hogan vs Austin would have done the trick, but that's out the window. So how about Austin vs Shane McMahon or even Hogan vs Shane? It would certainly add something to the show, even if it isn't a BLOCKBUSTER match.

It's too late to add a huge match with someone like Austin or Hogan to the card. As much as they don't deserve it, I wouldn't just throw them on with a one show build up.

I realise that it's cutting it fine, as they really don't have time to promote a Hogan or Austin match with one week left, but it would probably help the PPV buys and make a lot of people want to REALLY see the show, rather than take it or leave it. So it would still be good business sense, considering the pile of crap card they are offering right now. And allegedly they are expecting this to be the highest-grossing Mania of all time??? I would suggest: no chance in hell.

What about Hogan and Austin vs Shane and Coach in a tag team squash match!

Shane McMahon won't be at the event apparently.

I would just add something solid like MNM defending the WWE Tag Team Championship against Paul London & Brian Kendrick.

Marks will all buy the show it because it is WRESTLEMAN!A!!!!11. It also has Shawn Michaels kicking Vince McMahon's butt, The Undertaker killing Mark Henry and Rey Mysterio winning the World Title.

Smarks will buy the event because even if the WWE hates to admit it, we're they're most consistent audience. Plus there's the promise of some quality, like MITB, the Triple Threat, Edge/Foley, etc. There should be nothing too bad on the card.

New fans are a mixed bag. Some of them might become attracted to a lot of the upper card matches. People who watched WCW might watch because Rey Mysterio's in the main event, etc. There may even be some people who didn't know Shawn Michaels was back. As much as the WWE hopes to do so, I don't think the Playboy Pillow Fight will create new viewers. Porn > Not Porn, a simple formula the WWE is yet to take into account.

I think the WWE needs to stop trying to go for new fans, when they should just insist on not making their current product embarassing to watch. Work out your main event scene and get your top face cheered. You'd be surprised how many people buy WrestleMania every year, anyway. You'd be surprised how many people don't buy it, but end up watching it at a friend's. If you put on a good show, logic says they might do the same for Backlash and then Judgment Day. Definately again next year.

In my eyes, and do mean this as nicely as positively as possible, if the WWE doesn't get as many buys as last year, they have failed. By that, I mean a significantly less amount of buys. If you lost so many fans over a year, you did something wrong. This WrestleMania should be a good indicator of where the WWE will go over the next few years.

But no, it won't be "make or break". Next year's WrestleMania has a better chance at having those high stakes. I'm already more excited for it than I am this one.

Let's avoid the idea of a "big name match" because it's just not going to happen. What they ought to add on is a good WRESTLING match, like maybe MNM vs. London & Kendrick or MNM vs. The Mexicools, or even a three way dance with a combination of all three?

How about an elimination match between MNM VS Mexicools VS London & Kendrick VS Gemini. Make it like the tag team elimination match from WM18... and obviously have the Gemini taken out first so the other six can fly around more.

they really need it imo, even if there is no build, it would help save this wrestlemania from being the complete piece of shit it is right now

throw in rock/austin/hogan/SOMEONE big in there!

If anything, Shane will probably be a ringside with his pops for the match.
