My brother's computer has a real problem when searching google. I can get to the main page but everytime I search something it comes back with an error page. I've tried it after disabling firewalls and anti-virus software but it's still the same.

Any obvious ideas to try?

Perhaps you have one of those shitty toolbars that won't uninstall.

Go to My Computer, right click the C drive, choose properties, tools, and run disc cleanup. This will hopefully clear the temp and cookies etc.
On IE choose tools, internet options and clear files, cookies and the History.

Or
Go to google advanced and check the search settings to see if anything is causing sites to be blocked.
