View Full Version : Contracts...
I'm thinking... This is all hypothetical, but let's say The Rock, or someone with his pull, is ready to return to wrestling. He has a choice between WWE and TNA. He tells WWE that unless they give him so and so many title wins and for how long he's going to TNA.
Can he do that? Can someone put that kind of stipulation in a contract? And has it been done before in the WWE? Or WCW, but it probably HAS happened there...

Officially, no such thing exists IIRC. But yes.

Also, I believe WCW did it quite a few times.

Im preety sure that Hogan and Nash had title wins written into thier contract. I think Gene said that one time.
There was also a rumour that when the Big Show came into the wwe it was written into his contract that he must have at least 2 world title wins.
I do not think thats true if Big Show had to have 2 title wins I think they would have already given it to him in the first 7 years because we all know wwe dont plan ahead to well.

Big Show is a 2-time WWE Champion.
He won the Triple Threat match against HHH and The Rock in 1999 (the night Rikishi "did it for The Rock"). Then he beat Brock in 2002 when Heyman betrayed Lesnar.

And they wouldn't give it to him, saying that they don't do contract guarantees.

Fuck I compleatily forgot about the second one.
Any way like I said it was just a rumour so its preety likelly that the wwe dosnt allow contract stipulations.
