I loved this Mania..

The Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero celebration at the end is and forever will be one of my all time Favourite WWE Momments ever.

The One

7.0

And the ENTIRE seven points it earn was purely for the final minutes. The rest of the PPV was meh at best. Even Eddie/Angle and Christian/Jericho, while they were good matches, they were nothing compared to what they could and in many ways SHOULD have been. Really, other then Benoit's finish, the only other highlights of the entire event was Dragon slipping on his enterence and Brockberg and Goldberg getting the shit boo'd out of them. Kind of sad when those are your top three highlights.

CAUSE I WAS THERE MOTHER FUCKERS.

Actually I wasn't. Trish turn was awesome. Orton's "bottom of the ninth" RKO will live on in folklore for ages, Brock/Goldberg was the greatest thing ever live, Eddie's trick was hillarious and the end made me tear up.

I love this PPV.

BTW, I don't rate matches on "wrestling skill." I rate it on how much fun there were to watch and how much they entertained me.

7, had it's high points such as the Eddie/Benoit celebration, Trish's heel turn, the Rock and Sock reunion was fun, and Brock/Goldberg was a horrible match, but the crowd made it.

Where it all begins again! A lot of crap but i liked some things. The Trish heel turn was awesome! I loved Evolution vs Rock/Foley. 2nd best match of the night. Angle vs Eddie could have been much better it was only good not great. The Triple Threat was so fucking amazing. I was on the edge of my seat the entire match. One of the best WM main events ever with Benoit making of all people TRIPLE H tap out. unbelieavable

Not the greatest WM of all time like Jim Ross said at the end of the broadcast but some great moments.

My 2nd favorite ever WrestleMania. Looking back, it may not be Flair/Steamboat every match, but when I was watching it...I got lost in it. This is the only time I have ever legit teared up just because somebody won a title. The Eddie/Benoit moment at the end will never be lost in my mind.

Christian vs Jericho was amazing. Trish turning heel was an awesome surprise. My favorite "OHHHHHH" moment during the show happened when Christian gave Jericho the Impaler (Gangrel's finisher).

Evolution vs Rock n Sock Connection was pretty good. Not great, but good enough.

Eddie vs Angle was awesome, but it wasn't as great as I expected it to be. Still awesome though. Imagine how great it would have been had Angle been in perfect health?

The tag matches were.... yeah. Not bad though.

Goldberg vs Lesnar was amazing. Neither one of them cared about that match, so the fans shit all over them. The crowd for that match is tied with the crowd during Rock vs Hogan. So amazingly awesome. Best "Na na na na. Na na na na. HEYYYYYYYYY. GOODBYE" chant ever.

Women's match was pretty sweet. I miss when the Womens' division was good. Gotta love Molly shaving her head. And I gotta admit, I thought she looked mad cute.

The main event was awesome. Benoit winning was awesome. The crowd was really behind him.

Eddie and Benoit standing in the ring celebrating was one of the greatest moments in wrestling history.

Great Mania, but of course I'm bias (my first and only live one). Evene Lesnar/Goldberg was salavged by the crowd. Had it not had that kind of response, that match could have bumped it down a point by itself.

Whilst Benoit/Eddie celebration was the ultimate highlight, most of the matches didn't live up to the hype.

Eddie/Angle was great
Brock/Goldberg was awfull, but the end was pretty ROFL
Benoit/HBK/HHH was decent enough
Jericho/Christian was ok, Trish turn topped it
Evolution vs Rock and Sock was ok

Sadistic

I was dissapointed with it... It looked so f'n awesome on paper, but somehow it didn't live up to expectations... that being said it wasn't terrible by any means. I loved Eddie/Angle and the Triple Threat. Brock/Goldberg was pretty funny, and the Trish heel turn was awesome. Taker's return was a let down as was all the filler shit like the tag matches and the cruiserweight open. Rock and Sock vs. Evolution didn't live up to expectations either.

I would give this a generous 7

Not bad. Not awesome. Good mix of pushing the new breed of stars, and nostalgia too. MSG is always good for the crowd. Felt like a proper WrestleMania due to the hype and the fact that it was a milestone Mania, the 20th show.

The ending seemed similar to WMX, when Bret Hart kicked off the new generation and was on top for the enxt three years. Seemed as though Benoit and Guerrero would be getting the same treatment, but that disappeared fast. (The pair opened WM21 one year later in the first and second matches)

The two Tag Title matches, Women's title and the Cruiserweight Open, were blatant fillers. Ultimo Dragon good for a chuckle, flopping in his "dream match" in his "dream venue" and embarrassing himself. LOL.

Takers "dead man" return was promising but turned to shit when he showed up just looking like the biker 'Taker but with a hat. Took 6 months off to buy himself a hat. I wish I had his boss.

Cena was pretty popular back then, no? And in MSG of all places! What a pop when he pinned Big Show. Match wasn't great but Big Show was doing well as a heel back then. Enjoyable opener, simply for the crowd heat.

Speaking of the crowd... Lesnar vs Goldberg! PMSL thinking about it. That was great. Austin was the star of the match. MSG tore both guys a new ass. And neither have been seen in WWE since.

Jericho vs Christian had a good storyline going in, a good angle developed during the match, and the match itself was good too. This should have had a more prominant position on the card.

Rock n Sock match acheived its objective... added nostalgia to the card, whilst also putting Orton and Batista over.

The two main events were good, the Triple Threat being the superior match. Triple H actually held his own in a very good match! Wonders never cease!

The closing moments were a real "WrestleMania moment" to remember. R.I.P. Eddie... gone too soon, but not many will ever top that scene.

Kane's entrance in Wrestlemania XX was fucking amazing. The buildings on fire in the background were sick.
