Frankly this idea is uncool as these high level prizes go on loosing their importance as their number increases.
Xero for you :naughty: just a joke don't mind it
Well, uh, thanks captain obvious.

Back on topic, the WWE has two world titles. One means more, but they have two separate brands, so it makes sense. And I'm... pretty sure the thread I started about the WWE introducing a third world title was a joke.
Anything can happen in the WWE

You know, in all technicality, the WWE only has one WORLD championship. The World Heavyweight Championship. The WWE Championship, as the name should suggest, is the biggest title in the WWE, not the world.
So going on name alone (not history or anything, as a new fan would do), the WHC is more prestigious than the WWE championship.
Also on the subject of titles, what's the difference between a World and the Intercontinental Championship? Both of their names that suggest they are the championships of places all over the world.

doesn't intercontinental just mean within the continent of north america, and then world title would be all over the world
i really don't think it matters though, i mean you have americans winning the european title, and people outside of north america winning the intercontinental title...... and aliens winning the world title :shifty:

Maybe, just maybe, the Intercontinental Champion is Champion of everywhere except North America. Therefore, to be World Champion, all you need to do is win the IC Title, US Title, a Canadian Title and a Mexican Title.
I think they should unify the belts come next year's WrestleMania. The same goes for the US Title and IC Title (have the winner be crowned WWE Television Champion or something) and World Tag Team and WWE Tag Team Championships. Add that to The Undertaker vs. Edge in a Streak vs. Streak Match and you have WrestleMania 23 half-booked.

You make it sound like they're multiplying in great numbers. There's a rumoured increase of 1 after how many years since the brad split? And it's just a rumour? Yeah. So there's two, and that's a bit of a stretch, but the devaluation isn't really there at this point, except in the sense that nobody gives a shit about either title. And that's more because WWE can't book an interesting feud.

adj.
Extending or taking place between or among continents: <cite>intercontinental exploration; intercontinental cooperation.</cite>
Having the capability of traveling from one continent to another: <cite>an intercontinental ballistic missile; an intercontinental airline.</cite>Clearly, we're looking at something that happens between continents. And if any of you remember its origin, the IC title was originally only defended in Atlantis, just as the Euro Championship was only defended it Europe and the Canadian championship with never defended because nobody gave a shit.

My favorite title of all time was the NWA's old Western States Heritage Title, which I believe made you the champion of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. For some reason I think that's hilarious.

Well, that's really a throwback to the days when there were a lot of titles, because there were a lot of territories. The pro wrestling we think of is a relatively new convention.
