Maybe it's to get HBK outta the building...So Bret doesn't be a whiney penis and leave.
Nah Hogan's probably being introduced right now. We just need another 20 minutes for his posing.

Actually I believe it is "officially" April 2nd as soon as Big Ben chimes it in, on a worldwide scale.
I heard that, not 100% on it though, but if that IS true.... hah! Fucking had ya!

I doubt that. Bret has been heavily promoted as the BIG one. Although, I'm sure he wouldn't mind stepping aside for Eddie to get the glory moment, but Mean Gene too??? Bret can't stand Gene, or Hogan either, so I doubt it.

I know, I realise that, but what I'm saying is that Big Ben is sort of the "official clock" of the world. For example, this New Year's Eve, it will officially be 2007 when Big Ben strikes at midnight, globally, no matter what time it is anywhere else. Obviously every country will celebrate at midnight, but it is official when Big ben says so!!
Doesn't matter though. I'm just blabbering.

There is a CHANCE Bret Hart said this
Just when I think i'm out they pull me right back in.
Fine, i'll do this one last "job", i'll do this one last "show", for my legacy.
No one wants to be forgotten.
You keep your blood money, I don't need it.
I can't buy back Pillman, I can't buy back Davey, I can't buy back Owen.
You use that $5000 to buy the boy toy a happy ending, I hear he lost his smile again.
After tonight, i'm free McMahn, i'm free.
No regrets baby.
I saw it posted at another board, not sure if it's legit or not

That was seriously cut down. Apparently Bret's induction went at least 10 minutes more than what they aired.

The Greater Power

From what I'm reading his speech was 30 mins and consisted of stories of:
Owen
Neidhart
His kid wearing HBK clothes and being part of "The Klique" right before the Screwjob
etc.
The Greater Power
04-02-2006, 12:21 AM
During Bret Hart's induction speech, he told a lot of Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart stories. There were no references towards Shawn Michaels, except for Bret telling a story about how he once disciplined his son, so his son went to his room and came out with a Shawn Michaels shirt and glove on and said he was "in the kliq". Bret said while WWE took a lot from him, they gave him a lot too. Bret finished his speech about 15 minutes after 11pm (that's Eastern time, not Chicago time).

You know, something? Bret hart looked really good. Meaning he spoke very loudly and clearly.
Are you guys sure he's in no condition to have a non-active on-screen role?
I love how people claim that he can't speak for more than 10 minutes without getting winded and exhausted. He seemed fine to me.
