View Full Version : Ken Doane reminds me too much of Renee Dupree *Spoilers*

This guy is REALLY young, has loads of potential, great charisma, and a great look. They throw him on Raw well before he is really ready for this kind of spotlight (being on Raw regularly is a BIG step at 19) in a group/tag team and within weeks is a tag champion.

He unfortunately might end up like Dupree by getting stuck in this situation at a young age.

And much like the Spirit Squad, La Resistance was over well with the internet community.

I don't know, but it just gives me that same feeling that I had with Dupree.

Ken Doane is now the youngest champion is WWE history, isn't he? Rene Dupree & Rob Conway teamed together for a Dark Match against The Highlanders prior to RAW. Assuming that they do keep Dupree & Conway teaming, a face turn may not be so bad for either man.

Ken Doane vs. Rene Dupree with Mike Mondo & Rob Conway along for the ride could get both men out of the rut that gimmicks have created. Dupree just needs to be jealous that Kenny beat his record, challenges Kenny, and teams up with his amigo Rob Conway. Dupree has apparently lost the French appearance, so a face turn wouldn't be too difficult to pull off.

Being three yeras younger and a world champion already, Ken Doane makes me feel like a bit of a underachiever.

Don't forget he is banging Mickie James. That's probably not going to make you feel any better.

He should really feel on top of the world right now :(

I would mark out if Mickie James joined The Spirit Squad.

Unfortunately, a gimmick like this will go nowhere for even the best of wrestlers.

Simply being part of the Spirit Squad klills my interest in anyone involved. Translation, it doesn't matter how good he is, he's fucked.

Yeah KK, because HBK's gimmick was really badass huh? If you are good enough, with the right circumstances, you can go anywhere.

I want to establish a British franchise of the Spirit Squad. Global domination starts here

Right. Which is why Ultimo Dragon's still with the company, right? Because what they're really looking for is brilliant wrestlers.

Go back to defending shower rape. At least you've taken it in the ass enough to "get behind" that.

(Michaels' HBK and Rockers gimmick were both good enough for the time, making your argument both moot and retarded, BTW. Not to mention he didn't so much make it big because he's brilliant, but because of who he knew)

Not to sound racist or anything, but I have no idea which one Ken Doane is. They all look alike to me.

Go back to defending shower rape. At least you've taken it in the ass enough to "get behind" that. Thats amazing; I can go back to something that never took place. WOW.

No the HBK gimmick was terrible, it liked to not got off the ground. You making that assestment leads me to believe you weren't even watching at the time, otherwise you couldn't make such an assinine statement. The second part of your statement goes back to the 'right cicumstances' part of my argument. Pay attention next time.
