Seriously, him aligned with Vince McMahon or just him being a flat out super heel would be something so fresh after this bland shit.
He's getting booed all the time now (well duh lol the obvious)...him as a face is ridiculous. Just a waste of time and makes WWE look stupid IMO.

Um, how was that better? I don't get how the older version of him was less annoying, stupid, and most of all, wigger.
Maybe I'm missing something here...
He should be heel but I don't know how him making stupid freestyles is anymore entertaining..

Can you imagine if he layed down for Trips for the title, then aligned with him and Vince. I'd love that. Laying down's always a bit "lame" but imagine the heel heat.
they just need to let him do what he wants, he can be a face too
but yeah, heel cena =

That was pretty awsome, but still that compares nothing to the heat he gets now.

I love that Cena freestyle with viruses on a computer or something. Probably the best one he ever did.

Ya know... he hasn't even done freestyles in a while, and those (well, the non gay/poop ones) were what got him over in the first place. He's gone from urban rapper to urban soldier.

wow just wow. Cena was the fucking man back then. He could have been over as a face if he just stuck with what made him fucking popular in the first place. RAPPPING
He could have ripped into HHH like crazy...

Yeah, that was the gold old Cena. And considering that was Chicago, he got booed more than that this past week as a face, then he was as a heel at the time.

John Cena rapping actually makes it look like he understands the culture slightly. His current persona basically says "Look, I'm white, but I'm trying to ride the popularity of black music," which is going to fall flat on its face, even if the WWE lies their ass off and calls him edgy.
When Cena used to rap, he was still a wigger, but you could actually buy him as a guy that was into the culture from birth. The WWE seemed less serious about it as well. Now they're hanging their company on his name.

Hmm, maybe, but I still think the way he is now is less annoying and could work better as a cocky heel or something.

GFod, the days when he was an entertaining wigger.

The problem is that somewhere along the way Cena became a WWE watered down carbon copy of elements of past WWE wrestlers[ala Stone Cold; bucking authority: The Rock; trying to elevate mic skills with slight elements of humor].
Cena isn't Cena anymore simply put. He's this outrageously overrated entertainer. Watching his older heel days on SD in 2003 make you realize they've simply taken away Cena's input for his character and made him tone it down. This always attributes to the heat he gets[along with the stale face routine].
After watching Mania 22, I was expectin' Cena to fully turn heel on RAW. Didn't happen. How long can they honestly expect Cena to be a forced face? He needs to fully turn and start cutting vicious promos again and start showing his full potential in-ring like he did in UPW as The Prototype and as he did in his heel 2003 run on SmackDown.
Until WWE wisen up and decide to turn Cena into full badass heel mode, we will continue to boo his stale ass. Unlike all the Cena 'net haters, I actually see the potential in him, which is why I boo him. The potential to a great ring performer as well as a gifted entertainer is there. It's just not being used.....

I present to you John Cena's greatest face moment:
All I want to do is slap the "Ruck Fules" hat off Cena's head. Is that a normal face reaction?

Exactly. I never marked out so much in years like I did that Monday when Cena got drafted to Raw, and Christian's music came on..and he confronted him. After that, the feud never happened. We were given a shitty 3 way, which mainly focused on Jericho.
That IMO could've turned Raw totally around.

Christian would've eaten Cena alive.
While that would've benefitted us, WWE would've lost.

I remember thinking at the time that Tomko was great in that segment. Watching it again, he was still pretty funny. I know he didn't do much, but his reactions... less is more.
