We have an independent theater about 30 minutes away in Columbus, and some friends and I were browsing the website and saw that Pulp Fiction would be playing on April 7th at 10:30pm. So, we went to go see it. There were like 6 times when I was watching the screen and though, "Oh my god, this is Pulp Fiction!" It was like a religious experience for me. I even took a picture of the Ezekiel 25:17 speech on my cell phone.
Has anyone else ever caught a special screening of an older movie?

yeah, my cinema does a tonne of stuff like that. they even have a tarantino season every now and then. i've seen some stuff like "it's a wonderful life" in the cinema and shit, but i'm looking forward to the day they play the first two terminator films though. that would fucking rule all.

Rock Horror twice and one time my theatre got an original Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc print for an employee only screening, that was wicked.

Yeah, a few. A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Audition, and a few others I can't remember.

They do Mystery Mondays every Monday at UCI cinemas over here. I think the tickets are half the price but you have no choice over what you see. Can be a film from the past, a current showing or an early preview. I saw Walking Tall a couple of weeks before it came out. Saw Se7en so that was cool. Walked right out when it was Titanic though.
