Dark match/Velocity
Ken Kennedy came out and was welcomed by a ton of cheers especially when he announced that he was from Green Bay, WI. Lots of Kennedy chants. But at the end of the promo he said that he relocated to Minnesota, so of course he can keep his heat.
Tatanka def Nunzio
Simon Dean def Adrian Lynch
Jamie Noble & Kid Kash def Funaki & Scotty 2 hotty
(Kash hit the brainbuster for the win)
Vito def Colt Cabana (but i think they announced him as Chris Guy) Lots of Colt Cabana chants actually.
Smackdown
They opened with the King of the Ring crown, cape, and throne in the ring. Booker T comes down and says how he's gonna beat everyone. He trys on the crown and cape, some pretty funny dancing and stuff from Booker T, but then Lashley comes down for the spear.
Brian Kendrik def Johnny Nitro with a roll up pin.
Paul London who was at ringside had a nice dive onto Joey Mercury. Melina definately looked good tonight.
Paul Birchill def Rahard Brown aka the Skullkrusher via the Sea-4 in a squash. Some funny stuff with Regal dressed up as a wench.
Matt Hardy def The Road Warrior in a really short match. Hardy had to do the 'twist of fate' twice because he slipped the first time.
JBL def Chris Benoit in a cage match for the US title. Very good match. Some good high spots off the cage. Benoit hit his diving head butt and also got a pretty cool suplex off the top onto JBL. JBL hit Benoit with a low blow and escaped. Pretty long match, but it was definatley good.
Dalip Singh who is now known as the Great Khali came out with Daivari for a promo. Dalip actually got on the mic and shouted something that no one could understand. It was actually kinda funny.
Gymini def the Mexicools
I'm surprised they let them go over in a short match.
Angle def Orton
Pretty good match also. Orton took a suplex to the outside, a pretty cool bump. Angle wins via the Ankle Lock, and refuses to break the hold after the match. He then walks away, but then applies the ankle lock again. He leaves, but then comes back for a third time to put the ankle lock on Orton. Orton sold the ankle and kept shouting that it was broken. I guess that's how they'll explain his absence. Their were some "you're suspended" chants, but i'm not sure if they come up on TV or if they'll edit it out.
Dark match
Rey def Angle and Mark Henry in a cage match.
It was supposed to be Orton, but Henry took his place so he could sell the leg injury. Pretty short match. Rey celebrated on top of the cage and the show ended.

Hmm, there appears to be no Rey on TV even though he's the champ what's up with that?
They have used Cabana 4 times in 2 weeks now, PLEASE sign him and let him keep the Cabana gimmick
Sea-4!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds pretty decent. I had a feeling they would drag the feud over the WWE Tag Team Championship out with singles matches over the next few weeks. I expected Paul London vs. Joey Mercury this week, though. Maybe next week. Then they might swap over and have Paul London vs. Johnny Nitro and Brian Kendrick vs. Joey Mercury.
This is Colt Cabana's fourth job for the WWE in four shows. I have a feeling they're really taking a look at the guy. I hope they hire him. Colt Cabana & CM Punk as a tag team in the WWE?
I'm glad the King of the Ring Match got to main event the show. Hopefully they do this consistently. If they're not going to put the First Round Matches on PPV, may as well make them TV main events.

They'll probably remind us of Rey's presence with a taped interview sending out his love again, or something else that won't help the fragile situation he's in at the moment.
"Sea-4" is probably the best "pirate name" for The C4. I think I posted it somewhere in the suggestion thread. :D

So it's pretty much a given that Kendrick and London are going to have a tag title match at the next Smackdown PPV
Good! Nice to see a slow buiild to it for a change.
But what's with the Mexicools jobbing?

The WWE have this thing with putting The Gymini over their more talented teams. I think they are undefeated in tag team matches. I was looking forward to The Mexicools, and possible Jamie Noble & Kid Kash being added to the Tag Team Title hunt.

Haha, is that what they're calling the C-4? That's brilliant!
I mean, seriously... they didn't screw up a name for once. I'm amazed.

I dobut they'll actually call it that, I think it's just the fans suggestion. You watch it be called "The Pirate Bomb" when it actually airs. :(

So once again they don't have the champ on TV?wtf? Also lol@the Dalip Singh thing.
And it looks like that KOTR will be on PPV, or the final will be atleast. That's some creative booking for a change.I would like to just have the final on ppv personally, the rest of the matches are usually too predictable and put me off of the PPV.I guess the semi finals should be on it as well, but does this mean there's no Judgement Day this year?

Good to see Cabana getting used by the wwe. Also as far as being called Chris Guy, that was probally getting back at Ace Steel for using the name Scott Colton on WWe tv.

They will likely have the KOTR semis or finals at Judgement Day.

Plus last week, he didn't exactly have "top billing" on Smackdown. That was the earliest Heavyweight Championship match I can ever remember. It was in the first hour for crying out loud.

I find Kendrick over Nitro disgusting, and I'm really missing Orton already.
But these spoilers granted me a shred of contentment: KENNEDY. Even though it won't be televised, I'm so freaking glad they haven't forgotten about him. And saying he relocated to Minnesota is the ultimate insult to Green Bay. Might be cheap, but it's still good heat. :D

Lets face it though,he shouldn't be holding the title anyway.Angle should have it and he and Rey should be feuding for it imo.

I know you don't like Paul London & Brian Kendrick, but look at it this way, Brian Kendrick beating Johnny Nitro allows for MNM to get a feud going, appear on TV, and actually have great tag team matches.
Just don't order Judgment Day. I have a feeling you will see something you don't want to see if they have MNM vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick (that being a title change).

I'm not sure how far away Judgment Day is exactly (and I'm too lazy to find out), but assuming they have one First Round Match on TV every week, that's three more weeks until we have the semi-finals. That takes us into the beginning of May, which should be enough time to either have the Semi-Finals back-to-back heading into Judgment Day, where the finals would then take place, or actually create stories heading into Semi-Final matches at Judgment Day.
Now that Kurt Angle is confirmed, I think Booker T will likely defeat Hardy. Kurt Angle vs. Booker T is not only a PPV quality match, but is was on Judgment Day last year. Finlay vs. Chris Benoit will almost definately go to Chris Benoit. I have a feeling Bobby Lashley vs. Mark Henry will go to Mark Henry, simply because Chris Benoit vs. Mark Henry has been rumoured for the Judgment Day card for a long time. I don't know why, but I would love to see the WWE also have some matches between the losers of the King of the Ring Tournament. Randy Orton Substitute vs. Matt Hardy vs. Finlay vs. Bobby Lashley for a United States Title Shot? Hell, just have JBL vs. Matt Hardy vs. Finlay vs. Bobby Lashley for the United States Title.
So Judgment Day is starting to look like this:
World Heavyweight Championship
Rey Mysterio vs. Kane (If rumours are to be believed)
Grudge Match
The Undertaker vs. The Great Khali
King of the Ring Semi-Final Match
Chris Benoit vs. Mark Henry
King of the Ring Semi-Final Match
Kurt Angle vs. Booker T
WWE United States Championship
JBL vs. Matt Hardy vs. Finlay vs. Bobby Lashley (nothing to imply this will happen, but meh)
WWE Tag Team Championship
MNM vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick (about fucking time)
Loser Leaves SmackDown! Match (or another outfit gimmick match)
Paul Burchill vs. William Regal
Cruiserweight Match
Super Crazy vs. Shannon Moore (maybe, if there's time)
If JD '06 looks anything like this, I will definately be ordering it.

Well if nothing else that huge guy oughtta provide some good laughs...I'm sure I'm not the only one who knows that this guy (the guy who beat the bejeezus out of UT last SD!) was in the longest yard as the dorky guy on the team.
Also, I'm dissappointed that they're having Mr. Kennedy (or Ken Kennedy) stay off TV, especially this week since it was in his hometown...there's no need to make him be a part of all the dark shit or velocity because we in the US dont get Velocity any more probably cuz of the fact that SpikeTV doesn't have wwe programming anymore...I say put him in a feud with either Lashley or Boogeyman.

I just realized it was Dalip who yells, not Daivari. Talk about role reversal...
Come think of it... "Cannonbomb" could also work. Or "C-4" as in "Cannonball 4." *shrug8

Yeah, I should have been clearer in my post TL. The point I was trying to get at is that by booking him that early on Smackown, WWE doesn't show him any respect as a realistic "main eventer". If the company projects this attitude, then how in the hell can they expect the fans to view him as a realistic champ?

I was just thinking about the way Rey has been booked as well. The last time he was in the main event of a ppv, was Survivor Series. His Royal Rumble victory wasn't even main event. Winning the title at WM wasn't even a main event. And Rey's first title defense was halfway through a SmackDown, not even a main event there either. So I agree that he doesn't seem like a realistic main eventer.

Two quick ROFL's.
1. Taz being in complete shock upon seeing the cage up above. You'd think that'd be something he noticed before.
2. JBL scaling the cage in no time, like a cat. I didn't know he could move that fast!
EDIT:
Benoit just did the Three Amigos and they put it over as "perfection." Um... not really. And when you really look at it, no one did it better than Eddie. Even Benoit was looking extremely sloppy.
Just an observation.

JBL's were closer to Eddie's. They both sucked. Benoit just hops on his ass instead of spinning his hips and JBL does some breakdancing thing instead of swining his hips.

ROFL.... only in wrestling.
So Daivari goes to intro the Great Khali... and the crowd's response?
USA! USA! USA! USA!!
WTF?!?! What does that have anything to do with anything? Just goes to show you that America really is ignorant. "Oh, he's a foreign guy. Lets chant USA because he's automatically anti-American."
Times like this make me slightly ashamed to be a wrestling fan, although the unintentional comedy scale was definitely off the charts. I really have no idea what he growled into the mic... or what language it was supposed to be.

Just 'cause I'm bored, I thought I'd take a whack at booking Judgment Day Alienoid_style.
World Title Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Kane (if the rumors are true)
United States Title Match
John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Kurt Angle (JBL costs Angle his semifinal match against Booker T)
King Of The Ring Finals
Lashley vs. Booker T
Tag Team Title Triple Threat
MNM vs. Brian Kendrick & Paul London vs. Mexicools
Some Sort Of Gimmick Match
The Undertaker vs. The Great Khali
Rumored Feud Match
Chris Benoit vs. Mark Henry
Six-Man Tag Grudge Match
Matt Hardy, Paul Burchill, and Tatanka vs. Finlay, Road Warrior, and William Regal
Cruiserweight Title #1 Contender Triple Threat
Nunzio vs. Jamie Noble vs. Kid Kash
Then, you can add some comedy sketch with The Boogeyman (or set up a squash match with him against Simon Dean or Orlando Jordan or Sylvan or something.
