Yeah, I just bought it. Lovin every minute of it.

Egm trashed the game for having no multiplayer, and poor AI. Gamepro gave it a higher review, but said the same things. The only real problem they stated with the AI is that they are always running toward and around explosive objects.

Now, thats what I find a silly thing to gripe about.

What's the point of a game with assloads of shit to blow up, if there's never anyone around to blow up with it. The game still isn't a breeze or anything. If I want to blow up uninhabited structures and enviornments, I'll dig up my N64 and play Blast Corps. And a giant robot that demolishes buildings by hopping on them? Well thats just too ridiculous for me.

I've only played the first two levels so far. I enjoyed it.

There's a difference between nobody being around to blow up and the AI intentionally running toward the explosive materials, trying to hide behind them. Takes away from the realism.

But you've got a good point. The point of the game is to blow shit up, and it's more satisfying to blow something up and watch somebody's charred corpse being flung from the wreckage.

If you want intelligent enemies, I would recommend F.E.A.R.

They worry me more than the scares do.

It is definitely fun to blow shit up, but I rented it for a week and was done with it in like 4 days. Not much replay value there.
