I'd pay $6000 just to see the Arm Wrestling match. But not just ANY arm wrestling match, an EXTREME, CAGED Arm Wrestling Match!

Kane Knight

Why should I?

Except, of course, for that EXTREME CAGE MATCH.

Erm, so Daniels goes through all that to get the X-division title, and then loses it straight away and now the best they can do for him is giving him a 'mystery opponent' storyline. That's the worst thing they could've done with him.

Anyway, i wont have to order it as we get it on TWC a week later, which will be on the same night as Backlash, so haha@all of you who have to order it.

He (Daniels) was originally scheduled to face Jushin 'thunder' Lyger at Lockdown for the X Division Championship. Jushin ended up being double booked (or sumthin) and decided to do the other show. So for some reason they decided to give the title back to Joe (presumably to show that the X Title isn't just for Lightweights) and here we are.

Hopefully Daniels and his opponent will have a 2 out of 3 Falls..

I think we can assume that the Team Canada members will be A1, Bobby Roode, and Eric Young, since Petey Williams is in the Xscape match and I haven't seen Johnny Devine in months.

I won't be ordering it, but I am curious what's going to happen. I'm glad Abyss is finally getting his one-on-one title shot (although I would have preferred it against Rhino earlier this year).

What's the XScape match? An Ultimate X match in a cage?

They did one last year, but I can't remember the rules. I seem to remember that the rules were pretty convoluted.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say the first one to Xscape the cage wins :-\

And then do their finisher on a few people a couple dozen times.

No...won't be ordering...then again, I don't order PPVs.

Just looked it up. It starts out as an elimination match (pinfalls, submissions) until it comes down to two. Then, whichever of the two is the first to escape wins the match.

I thought I remembered something about a timed entry, but I may have been confusing XScape with "Lethal Lockdown."

I'd be up for it, but we might be the only two.

Oh, and Skippord, but he'd just pick Chris fucking Sabin to win every match.

For what it's worth:

Christian Cage over Abyss via pinfall after reversing the Black Hole Slam into an Unprettier

Jarrett's Army over Sting's Warriors via submission when Ron Killings submits to the Steiner Recliner

Samoa Joe over Sabu when Sabu passes out to the Rear Naked Choke

Team 3D over Team Canada (it's a capture-the-flag match, so "how" doesn't matter)

Team Japan over Team USA when Black Tiger pins Dutt (Shelley has an opportunity to make the save, but doesn't)

Chris Sabin wins the XScape match (Petey Williams will be the other finalist)

Bullet Bob Armstrong wins the arm-wrestling match via DQ when Konnan does his Homey The Clown impression, leading to a big LAX/James Gang clusterfuck

The mystery opponent (Raven?) over Christopher Daniels

i'm ordering it as always cause i order every TNA ppv

i heard that daniels mystery opponent has been confirmed to be someone that everyone who watches wrestling will know
2 names i could think of are kidman and jericho....either one would be pretty damn sweet

I am making my official announcement, since I know it won't happen.

If Chris FUCKING Jericho debuts at Lockdown, I will buy every TNA DVD and watch every TNA TV show, including reruns, forever.

Jericho would be just about the best move TNA could make right now. It's one thing to bring in Sting and Steiner, who have name value, but whose active careers are effectively over. Jericho is only barely past the prime of his career, and he works the TNA "style" very well.

I'd love to see him come in as a heel and feud with Christian, but there's no way the Impact Zone fans would boo him.

Xero

Most crowds would if he was a heel. He'd get a big face pop on his introduction, but he's so good on the mic that eventually he'll turn the crowd against him.

Not in the Impact Zone, though. They cheer everybody not named Jarrett.

If I had more extra money lying around, I'd order it. I can't order ppvs at home either, so I'd have to go to my brother's to order it.

Since TNA has a six sided ring, do you think one day they'll build up a PPV completely around the fact that they're using a four sided ring for the first time in so many years?

I'd order it if i could, its sure to be better than any WWE PPV so far this year, but i don't have TWC. I nearly got my girlfriends parents to put it on sky plus for me and then tape it but i don't think we;re quite 'there' yet.

I will agree with you on one point: 'this is awesome' is the gayest, stupidest and downright most pathetic chant EVER.

but cheering heels? nothing wrong with that, cheer for whoever you want. I fail to see how people can have a problem with it. I'd rather see a super hot crowd than a dead one, on any wrestling show. I'm at a wrestling show i'm gonna cheer for who i like best. Benoit: face or heel: I'm gonan cheer for, RVD, ditto, Angle, HHH etc etc.....

The whole Heels and Faces thing's outdated now anyway, I do thinks it time to just make characters and have the fans cheer for whoever they want at the time, Look at Cena and Rey, they're being made to look stupid because WWE has a wide fanbase, who aren't gonna agree on Favourites anytime soon.

YOU CAN'T CHEER EVERY GOD DAMN WRESTLER IN EVERY MATCH.

The problem is you can't really book without a good guy and a bad guy. Sure, you could TRY, but this is sports entertainment (and yes, TNA is too, no matter what they say), and they have to rely on stories. You can't have a good story without a good guy (who the fans cheer) and a bad guy (who the fans boo).

And if you DO let the fans choose, well, then you have heels and faces. Problem is, TNA fans love almost every TNA wrestler.

If everything is excellent then cheering becomes totally pointless.

It devalues real work when you can get popped for setting up the ring.

Also I hate the TNA fans, but like I have said they have there moments. Sometimes the This is awsome Chant is alright other times its not.

Doing Dueling chants for two low card guys is the gayest thing ever though. Yes even gayer then the terrible Abyss chant.
