inside sources said vince was focusing on rikishi, seeing that he has been in 16 royal rumbles and has never been in a main event, vince said he would try to get rikishi more attention

Bad idea, Rikishi's push back in 1999 was awful because he can't carry good main event matches.

P.S. Cite your inside source

P.S.S. Only one question mark is appropriate, not "?!?"

Rikishi has NOT been in 16 Royal Rumbles. This year was the 17th Rumble, and there have been several years without the 'Kish.

By my count, he was only in 10 (1993-1997, 2000-2004).

Damn though, that was a lot. Has anyone else been in that many or more?

He's got the biggest ass in the world and walks around wearing a thong now if that doesn't get him attention then nothing will.

He wants a push? I'll give him one........off a cliff ahahahahahaha hohohoho hehehe (Foley was right, the fake laugh works)

Seriously Rikishi needs to get a new wardrobe, it was funny back in '99, I'm tired of seeing his ass on my tv every week

Just working through the numbers. Not quite there yet, but I thought it was sort of interesting that Tito Santana was in each of the first six Royal Rumbles. He was the only one that was in every Rumble from 1988-'93.

Seeing Haku and Rikishi fueding with Taker and Kane wasnt bad because they actually were pretty badass as a tag team when they would **** up people with that claw on the face and then the banzi drop.

Remember the first blood match between taker/kane and rikishi/haku? That was pretty sweet.

Good God, no.

Fortunately, I don't put much stock in this, but I wouldn't doubt it either. Let's see...A big fat hoss with some major shock value...That equals facils for everyone within 30 feet of McMahonwhich.

Okay, here's the numbers on who's been in the most:

Rikishi has been in 10 Rumbles, most out of anyone. This is including entries as Fatu and The Sultan.

Billy Gunn and Kane/Isaac Yankem/New Diesel are tied for second with 8 appearances each.

Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Owen Hart, Jake Roberts, Rick Martel, and Godfather/Goodfather/Papa Shango/Kama Mustafa each have 7.

Steve Austin, Randy Savage, the British Bulldog, and Tito Santana have each been in 6.

And there's a big tie with five each between Bret Hart, Mr. Perfect, Bob Backlund, Goldust, both members of the APA (including "Blackjack" Bradshaw and NOD Faarooq), Big Boss Man, Test, A-Train/Albert, Barry "Smash/Repo Man" Darsow, Savio "Kwang" Vega, and the greatest technical wrestler of all-time...Mabel/Viscera.

In all, 209 different people have competed in the Royal Rumble.

Benoit's off of Smackdown so Triple H can bury him. Goldberg's coming over as his big replacement. Rikishi's getting another doomed push. It just keeps getting better and better.

Isn't it? Now, if only they can kill of that Eddie Guerrero guy and that John Cena guy whilst merging the Cruiserweight Title to Triple H's World Title at a house show, I'll be set!

As long as Crapcore Holly doesn't get another push anytime soon, then I'm fine with Rikishi

I seriously cant see Rikishi as a main eventer or being close too it, the way he is not it aint gunna be good....A heal turn would work better for him, but before they do the could someone please tell him to get a new wardrobe cause im sick of seeing the fat ass full of celulite.

Yeah the ass gimmick really needs to go. I like him when he was fresh as Rikishi, they were working with him decently. His sit-out piledriver was pretty nifty too. Now he is just a blob.

To be fair rikishi deserves a push but not main event maybe a u.s title run , but the attire has to change ,that ass of his gives me nightmares! And the stinkface.......... doesn't entertain anymore....

Would it even be at a house show? They will probably end of filming it in Hunter's backyard and then show it on Heat

Heel turn, non-main event push, change in attire (and gimmick, for that matter) = all good ideas.

Oh great, just what the tag division needs. I swear I hate these two more then any other people in the WWE. Thier gimmick is as stale as a gimmick can be. I like Scotty, but I just hate his character right now. He needs to turn heel and drop The Kish.
