Albright is a cruiserweight?
According to OWW he's 240, way past any disputed Cruiserweight weight limit.

I know the limit is like near the 200 lb.-220 lb. range. Wonder how this will play out.

Who's Gunner Scott???
kind of like somoa joe being x champ.
The X Title was never meant to have a weight limit as far as I know.

That's..... odd.
Usually things like this happen when a hometown guy fights for a title.
But to have a relative nobody who's been on tv 2 times, win a title he's not eligible for... I think something is up.

I like how you guys are wondering why, like WWE actually cares enough about the Cruiser Title to even try and explain it.
I'll start to worry when 300lbs+ wrestlers win it.

Gunner Scott is good and all (he was Brent Albright in OVW), but he's definately not a cruiserweight. I'm glad it was non-title. Paul London is still #1 Contender, let him get the next shot, but have him lose because MNM come out, abduct Brian Kendrick, or something like that, Helms gets the Nightmare on Helms Street followed by The Vertebreaker.
They could probably have Chavo Guerrero come over to SmackDown! (seeing as he is a now a "free agent") and trade the title with Helms a few times. Chavo Guerrero & Super Crazy vs. Gregory Helms & Shannon Moore would make a nifty match.

Is the SmackDown! brand stopping in Italy? If so, it really wouldn't surprise me to see Nunzio win a title. They put the Cruiserweight Title on him last time, but I see them maybe doing something with the WWE United States Championship or WWE Tag Team Championship this time. Nunzio & Vito over MNM only to lose them to Paul London & Brian Kendrick at the next stop or Nunzio over JBL with some sneaky Italian tactics (Chuck Palumbo run-in, or something). JBL would win it back at the next show.
I find title changes on tours interesting. It shakes things up a bit.

I was gonna say... since they're playing backwards land, they were gonna have a Cruiserweight be the Heavyweight champ and a heavyweight be a Cruiserweight champ!
Makes sense to Vince!

I know this has turned out not to be a title match but I find it annoying how crusierweights keep having these 1/2 month title reigns and then get chucked off of the TV for good.I totally forgot Helms was even the champ.I know he's been injured, but it wouldn't of made a difference even if he wasn't injured. He would've lost the title by now if anything.
