I just realized that Kane's movie 'See No Evil' dubuts the same day as 'The Davinci Code'. Haha. So much for that...

So *THAT* is why Kane gets so upset whenever someone says May 19.

Guesses on how much it'll take in on opening weekend? I'm saying between $500k and a million.

"On May 19th, you will be buried by the obsolete Tom Hanks in a plagiarised movie."

If this bombs, does anyone think Vince will finally realize he cannot deviate from wrestling. How many failures will he need before he realizes wrestling is the only thing he is good at; even then that has been slipping as of late as well.

Yes. He bombed on a bigger scale, he's bombed out in dozens of ventures, but a single movie will be what makes it.

Just wait till John Cena's "The Marine" comes out. Already heard that Vince isn't pleased. After that, then we can start the timeline to the death of WWE Films.

Naw. When Triple H and the Undertaker's movies bomb, THEN we'll see it start to go downhill.

He'll probably bury WWE Flims by jobbing them to the XFL.

If When a Stranger Calls can open number 1, Kane's movie won't bomb.

I see it as opening number 4.

1. Da Vinci Code
2. Poseidon
3. Mission Impossible 3.
4. See No Evil

And it is a Lion's Gate Flim, which has somewhat of a following (Both Saw's, Devil's Rejects, Punisher)

I want to see MI3 and See No Evil

I want to see MI3 only because I saw and liked the first two. And loved the N64 game. And definitely The Da Vinci Code. I've gotten into biblical conspiracies and whatnot, like "The Gospel of Judas", which aired on the National Geographic Channel a few weeks ago. Interesting stuff.

See No Evil isn't going to bomb because of The Da Vinci Code. It's going to bomb because it's formulated to be rejected by the public. A few reasons:

1) It's from "WWE FILMS." A wrestling company making movies using its wrestlers. The concept alone is enough to turn off 50% of the American public.

2) It's starring Kane. Not Stone Cold Steve Austin, not The Rock, not even Hulk Hogan for god's sake, but Kane. No one outside of the wrestling industry cares.

3) This is director Gregory Dark's first forray into active directing. The only other things he's directed were pornos and a few music videos.

4) The rest of the cast reads Craig Horner, Tiffany Lamb, Penny McNamee, Samantha Noble, Matthew Okine... and it goes on like that with a list of names nobody's ever heard of. So, the most famous person in the film is Glenn Jacobs.

The most we can hope for is a cheap popcorn flick with some strong gore and possibly some nudity.

Yeah... Thanks for giving me the image of Kane, with the Kane mask on, in a movie with him doing full frontal nudity.

You forgot the most damning thing they have going against them...it's writen by Dan Madigan. Someone with ZERO writing experience other then being on the SmackDown writing team. Which we all know how that team is a great idea pumping machine.

I actually plan on seeing it, but only because I actually usually like Music Video directors turned film makers. They have interesting camera and edit ideas...after 30 minutes of it, it becomes offensive to the eye, but hey...if I can sit through Ultraviolet, I can sit through this.
