Strange japanese dialogue aside, the movie kicked all sorts of ass. It's almost non-stop action, with about 65% of the movie being fight scenes.

Speaking of the fighting, if you are a stickler for realism, with no suspension of disbelief, this might not be the movie for you. Because these fight scenes are so over the top, they make Dragonball z look tame by comparison. Thats a good thing though. Crazy awesome.

Plot is good enough. Gives closure to the game. It's pretty much impossible to top a 60 hour rpg experience with a 100 minute movie, so no sense getting into that arguement.

And I don't know what all these bitches are complaining about the voices for. I thought they were extremely well done. Except for Cat Saith, who is austrailian for some reason.

I was at a Virgin Megastore last week, and it was playing on the TV screens there. No dialogue, but the action looked awesome. Maybe one night this week, I'll "make it a Blockbuster night."

A great fucking movie, period. Like Fignuton said, brings a certain feeling of closure to the game, although i thought that it would've at least been a 2 1/2-3 hr. movie (Hell, Titanic did it!) but still a great movie. And the voice overs were well done and pretty damn accurate, like that "yea, he/she would sound like this if real" type thing.

My only annoyance was that all the other characters were basically just doing cameo's in a movie about Cloud. Would of prefered to of seen a bit more focus on them as well.

Great plot though, and just how much some places looked like they did in the game was just fantastic. It really did feel like Final Fantasy, not just a movie with the same plot and characters.

It was pretty good seeing it on a screen bigger then my PC monitor.

I was told it would come with a 20 minute anime film with the origins of Cloud and Zack yet got some 20 minute movie about the game.

I got it the very day it came out and they still had the shelves full of copies. I must've been the first one. I love living in a small city filled with dirty Mexicans who would rather drink and shoot themselves.

I liked the Japanese voice acting a little better though. The Americanization of the voices became a cliche.

Also, Cloud sounds like Dogget from the latter X-files episodes. (bad guy in Terminater 2 fyi)
