Jonathan Coachman is currently on the WWE's tour of Europe, and thus he won't be able to call Heat on WWE.com this week. For one week only, Joey Styles will be doing the play by play for Heat. He plans to be less restrained in his commentary on Heat than he is on Raw. Click here (http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/stylesheat) for more information on this move.

At the 4/25 RAW house show in Belfast, North Ireland, a teenage fan jumped the guard rail and tried to attack Shawn Michaels while he made his entrance in his tag match with Flair vs. Edge & Chris Masters. The fan pushed HBK and tried to attack him, however, HBK grabbed him and threw him to security, who took him away.

Best Buy is offering a free DVD sampler of the WWE's new movie See No Evil. The DVD features the trailer, three clips from the movie and Kane's match with Edge from Vengeance 2005. The sampler also comes with a coupon good for five dollars off the WrestleMania 22 DVD set.

Wuss. In the old days, if a fan tried to jump a guard rail and attack a wrestler, the wrestler would beat the shit out of him.

I hope someone jumps Finlay one day.

That would be a sight to see. (If he is indeed a Tough Green (as in Irish) Bastard.)

ROFL. The mental image of that is hilarious. Just imagine HBK pushing the fan back in the stereotypical pansy style tho.

FAN: YOU SELLOUT TO YOUR RELIGION!!! ARRRGH!!!

HBK: Oh stop it!!!! *bats eyes*

In the old days, a fan couldn't attack someone and then sue for lots of money after his unprovoked attack resulted in a beatdown.

I was at a RAW taping in Detroit, the one where they had the draft lottery, and during the Eddie Guerrero and Triple H match a fan jumped the guard rail and made it into the ring, only to have his ass handed to him by Eddie and Triple H, they went RIGHT after the guy the second he got in the ring, dropped a few serious boots on him, then he was tossed to security.

They could claim it was self-defense, because who knows how loony these fans are.

Only the entire country of Australia would come with him and start beating his ass, knowing those Aussies.

To the couple of you who act like that guy is a hero or something, that's fucking stupid. A guy who jumps the railing trying to pick a real fight with a TV character in the middle of a rigged match during an untelevised show? Well why didn't you say so before?!? Let's give the guy a medal! Just like that really cool guy and his awesome son who attacked an umpire during a baseball game because their team wasn't winning. Hell, why don't we all do it. Let's attack the kid behind the McDonalds counter when the fries take too long. Take out the teacher when he gives you an F, whether you deserved it or not. Maybe you could punch your wife in the face when she talks back.

Michaels did the right thing by just handing him to security. Call him a wuss if you want, but at least he thought for a second about the consequences of his actions. That dumbass kid didn't bother to think two seconds into the future about what would happen, and if he did... well, his conclusion was fucking delusional. Talk all you want about how wrestling is violent in nature, but if you can't seperate what's happening on TV or in the ring with real life, you shouldn't be watching wrestling anyway.

Even though I think tucsonspeed is being a little overdramatic about HBK not fighting back, I kind of agree.

If I was a main event star in the WWE, getting paid millions of dollars a year, had a hot wife like his, and some asshole in Belfast jumped the rail to get to me, I wouldn't fight him either. My life isn't worth knocking out some PROBABLY drunk fan (this is Ireland we're talking about) at the risk that he's carrying a knife and is ready to slash my throat. Fuck that.

When someone jumped the rail during the 6 man tag main event of Raw in Manchester, Chris Benoit got a few stomps in. Good times.

If he "might have a knife" it'd be pretty retarded to do anything but:

1) Run. Unless you are skilled at disarming people, in which case,

2) attempt to disarm him.

But Michaels didn't do the first, and probably wouldn't do the second. At the point that you're doing the second, you're doing far more than what Michaels did, but what Michaels did was already more hands-on than your retarded utterances would have us believe.

I now have to relate the Harley Stabbing Incident...

A fan attacked Harley, and DID have a knife. Stuck him in the forearm, if the story is right. Harley cold-cocked the guy and pulled the knife out of his arm. Cop arrives and he tells him the story and hands the knife over. Cop says something like "Well, you're the one who had the knife." Harley is like "and I guess I was the one who stabbed myself, too?" If he wrestled that night, and I am sure he did, it just goes to show you: Never mess with Harley Race.

Oh, and at least a Kick in the balls would have worked.
