Seriously. Batista shows up on SmackDown and get injured, Angle shows up on SmackDown and gets injured, Boogeyman starts to be considered a major player and get injured, Kennedy becomes a big name and gets injured, Orton lines up for a World Title run and fucks himself over...and Holly is almost dead...I know he isn't a big name, but hey...

So what's up with SmackDown? Why all the bad voodoo?

Mark Henry for one

Orton is a tool.
Boogeyman is useless and will continue to hurt himself and others.
Batista's injuries are coming from steroid abuse.
Angle's injuries have been hidden by drugs. He should have taken rest or retired a while back.
Holly = karma
Kennedy was unlucky. Poor guy.

Agreed, however it just strikes me as odd that there are nearly twice as many injured or out SmackDown star then RAW ones, and most of the SmackDown ones are big names where as RAW's injured list is a "Who's who" of I don't give a shit about you.

Smack Down! has had a lot of setbacks since the brand extension.

The first major one was losing Edge in early 2003 when he was actually on top of his game. Lost Kurt Angle multiple times due to broken necks and only God knows what else. Brock Lesnar left the company. Then there was Billy Kidman's monthly injury. Or him crushing Chavo's head with a botched Shooting Star. Scotty 2 Hotty has had a string of injuries and had a benign tumor. Losing RVD to knee injury in early 2005. Eddie Guerrero passes away. Ken Kennedy's back injury. Batista's back injury. Kid Kash breaks his arm. Gregory Helms injury. Now Holly's life threatening situation.

Not too mention the raping of all forseeable future main eventers with the yearly draft lottery.

This is why the WWE needs to get some more talent, or push what they have. Hell, try to re-sign Raven & team him up with Steven Richards. They need to suck Jason Reso's cock until he comes back, put Ric Flair on SmackDown and re-form the Four Horsemen with Beniot, Rey, and someone like Bobby Lashley.

And they need to fire Mark Henry.

If I have to say this one more time I will kill someone, but let me state for the record...

It will fail. Thank you for your time.

I think they should bring back the Four Horsemen

Why? So they can tarnish the legacy further? Why do people bitch about going backwards to dumb gimmicks, but one of the first answers out of everyone's mouth of how to fix things are bring back stables? It would be like if they tried to do nWo, or DX again, it would fail. Stable repeats always fail. History has shown us this time and time again.

You want those four guys to form a team? Sure why not. But if you call them the Horsemen all you are doing is asking people "Hey, would you like to judge these guys and figure out what flaws they have until you realise why you don't get the same feeling this time around?"

Nobody in 2006 knows who the Horsemen are, nor do they give a fuck.

Boogeyman and Kennedy = Rookies.

Rookies = Getting injured within 3-9 months when they first start in WWE.

Cheeseburgers = :yes:

Plus the death of Eddie and Christian leaving was huge losses for Smackdowns roster as well.

So what's up with SmackDown? Why all the bad voodoo?
Doug Basham not being champ, the draft was MAKE IT OR BREAK IT for SmackDown! and the draft broke it, Henry/Taker was a great feud until they pushed Henry to the side and put The Great Khali in place, who will be fired soon because he's not that good anyway.

Kane Knight
04-30-2006, 10:55 AM
No. There was no make it or break it. Rey Mysterio is the most perfect champ, and he's carrying the show. Other wrestlers are immaterial.
