Nash is the highest drawing champ of all time. He even had the graphs to prove it.

That was hillarious. Basically if you missed it, Big Kev made a graph charting the drawing power of former WWE Champions. He started with Hogan in 1993, then Hart, then Nash, then Austin and then Rock. Nash's bar was the highest and he said he was the highest drawing champion of all-time. Rock's was lowest.

ROFL greatness from Nash

"The X-division's got some good little guys who give you good little matches mostly filler"

Mister Sinister
05-04-2006, 11:45 PM
Yes he did! X-Division is filler

okay, I can't agree with him on that, I love the X-Division, isn't if it lacks Phyhlogy sometimes

Didn't he also say he had a great body too? Or in phenominal shape? Something like that.

He made fun of himself a lot, and it was really funny. That graph was awesome.

Yeah, funny stuff.

First I've seen Impact in weeks, and this was the part that entertained me most. Christian was good too.

I would have marked out if Nash "tore a quad" while running to get Alex Shelley some coffee.

I think it is really clever that they used the promo which was obviously sarcastic in tone to address serious issues with the X-Division. I love it, but people often refer to it as meaningly spots loosely tied together. Having Nash point that out after putting himself over as the highest drawing WWF Champion of all-time basically sends people thinking in the opposite direction.

Nash being used in little roles like this is a really smart move by TNA.

I don't know why, but Kevin Nash kind of reminds me of Neil Flynn, who plays The Janitor on Scrubs. How awesome would it be if Kevin Nash got a job as TNA's "Janitor" and constantly gave one X-Division guy a hard time? Comedy gold right there. I'm officially giving TNA permission to use that idea.

I just seen the Part II of the Nash interview when he showed that fucking graph ROFLMAO..."I'm not going to toot my own horn here, but....great worker.."<-----LOL in itself

Interviewer: Your a pure champion

Nash: Yea, pure champion

Interviewer: Alot like the X-Division

Nash:...yea, whatever......

LATER

Nash: I think the X-division's got some great little guys..go out and give ya a good little match.....bascially....a filler..

If i could rep Nash right now, i would

I've said it before, and I will say it again...

If Kevin Nash could have gone through his entire career without a match, he would be the best wrestler ever.

The Heat

That was basically the highlight of Impact[besides the Shelly/Christian match].

Nash as the highest drawing champion? Laughable. Did you see how low he rated The Rock? Interesting to see where they'll go with this[as they said "part two" is coming next week].

*SPOILER ALERT*

Highlight below if interested:

Meltzer reported in the Observer a week ago that Nash proposed an angle where he rips on the X Division guys, which will lead to him beating the crap out of a bunch of X Division guys, doing promos against them, and then he loses clean to AJ Styles. Of course, if you can't see where the problems in that idea are, then I guess you work for TNA.

if Nash does that, I will watch all the time.

McLegend

Wait did The Meltz write that last sentence or did you, hb2K?

hb2k

Meltzer exact words were (highlight):

"Several months back, Nash told friends about an idea he had, which was he'd come in, rip on the X Division, destroy a bunch of X Division guys, but in the end, he'd put over Styles. Of course, this idea can't work, because Nash just standing next to those guys buries the entire division. Plus, you have to be incredibily naive and not know the difference between laying down and putting someone over to buy that....."

He later says, "His first promo was to make fun of the X Division, talking about how nobody pays to see guys flip around a ring, about how his living room costs more money than any of these guys make. "You guys can fly. Fly all you want. People pay to see seven footers." If the interview is as described, they might as well have stuck a stake through the heart of the company. The story going around is the interview was arrogant as hell and buried everyone indirectly"

The TNA line was mine.

Except he'll probably do the first half of the angle and then "go home sick" before facing Styles on PPV.

You know how he is.

hb2k
05-05-2006, 10:11 PM
That's exactly what I see happening. Bury everyone, look great, then go home.

Mr. Nerfect
05-05-2006, 10:14 PM
I think there is so promise to the storyline. I mean, having im destroy all the X-guys is a bit stupid, but if he cut a promo how no one pays to see them because they can't beat the big guys, then he gets his ass kicked by the entire X-Division, it would get them over huge.

Push the division as a swarm of bees you want to avoid pissing off.

What would be even better is if Kevin Nash cut his promo on how crap the X-Division is, then Samoa Joe ends up standing being behind him, leading to Joe beating the crap out of Nash. Senshi kicking the crap out of Nash would be fine, too.

Kevin Nash seems like a team player these days, so hopefully he puts over the smaller guys well.

If Meltz said that then it would have been the funniest thing I have ever heard or read.

Loose Cannon

The Meltz probably loved the segment deep down. He hates the X-division and thier fancy moves he doesn't know.

Boondock Saint

if Nash does that, I will watch all the time.
