Ok, just thought of this... What's your favorite wrestling story or rumor. Basically, anything that was reported online or you heard. Nothing storyline wise, unless it was along the lines of Sid or Owen messing up promos.

Mine's the rumor from the DVD board's rumor thread where someone said that Viscera supposedly raped HBK back when Vis was Mabel and HBK was a prima donna. Apparently it lead to Vis's release and eventually Vis's later release from Viscera when HBK tattled to Vince on Vis for snorting a huge line of coke of a rental car in the parking lot (also mentioned in the thread). This thread was from a while back and it makes a little more sense now that Vis does Viscagra.

This eeks out the story of Blackman KO'ing Bradshaw with a kick when he tried to shove him onto a baggage belt at an airport.

The one about Hogan running for President. I think it may have actually gotten some news time.

Yeah, he was on Leno talking about it afterwards. I got it on tape, somewhere, although the tape might be shot as my basement bedroom flooded once or twice. He talks about how he was in favor of a flat tax which is a BAD IDEA (but good for him and Billionaire Ted)

I also got a HOGAN 4 PREZ sticker somewhere from around the same time. It was from a sticker dispenser and the second favorite I got out, right behind an LWO one.

The one about TNA's X Division not being a spot fest. I think that some people still actually believe that.

On the 1wrestling.com board back in the day, we insisted on telling everyone who asked that Vader had died. It wound up being posted on a few of the lower-to-medium-quality news sites. Then a bunch of us got banned.

Shocking News! The creators of the Attitude Era, Vince Russo and Ed Ferrera signed with WCW!

Could this be the end of WWF's rating dominance?

That went real well!

My favorite has to be The Giant pissing off Regal and thus earning his young, gigantic self a thorough beating and mocking.

Back in the days of the AWA, they had about 3 days off between shows. Dusty Rhodes and Dick murdoch were drunk and they drove from Minnesota down to Louisiana, just to kidnap a mule. They then got bored with having the mule at their apartment, so at 3AM, Murdoch went into a bar riding the mule and shooting off a gun.

I heard a story about Harley Race getting into a scuffle with a VERY famous boxer and wiping the floor with him.

Another Harley story from his book. He used to have to clean Happy Humphrey, (older 600 lbs wrestler) with a mop.

Jim Cornette had been pissed off for a while in WCW under Jim Herd's idiocy, so he quit. Finally, Ric Flair also cracked, and left with the title. When this happened, Jim Cornette sent a wreath to Jim Herd's house with the note -

"My sincere condolonces on the death of your wrestling promotion - Jim Cornette"

Has anybody else noticed that Lynette's boss on "Desperate Housewives" is named Ed Ferrara? Wonder if one of the writers is a wrestling fan and threw that in there as a little wink and a nod to all one of the wrestling fans in the world who watch "Housewives."
