why do metal bands always have to have names like that???

"Depths of Depravity"! "Involuntary Slaughter"! "Mass Obliteration"!

Oh, we're in a metal band, THEREFORE we are murderous, blood-lusting, depraved, violent, death-obsessed lifelong sufferers.

Try to pick something that actually MEANS something to you, that has some relevance. That has some sincerity and some sentimental value. Don't just jump on the generic band name bandwagon.

Anybody can just put a couple of gory sounding words together and make a metal band name up.

Blood Explosion, Intravenous Excrament, Disturbed Urethra, Underwhelmed by Jissom, Coil of Combustion, Bleeding Blood, Insanity Inanity, Murderous Pus.... see anyone can do it. It just sounds stupid and means nothing.

You may as well just call yourselves the ACME band.
