View Full Version : New TNA Management Revealed *Spoilers*
From PWInsider.com...
Legendary wrestling manager and all time great promo man Jim Cornette has agreed to terms with TNA and will be debuting soon for the company in an "authority figure" role. Given Cornette's ability to cut fabulous promos and his ability to sell storylines, he should be a fabulous asset for TNA.

I wonder if this means Cornette is done with ROH :(
I wonder if this means Cornette is done with ROH :(
Why would it? ROH uses TNA talent all the time.
Just don't expect him to do anything the weeks of TNA PPVs...
maby that can lead to a roh invasion, now they need to get rid of west and put lary with mike tenay.

If there ever was a drinking game where you'd take a shot after every time they said "TNA management" you wouldn't make it past 11:15.

I doubt Cornette will have major impact on joining TNA. Sure, he'll be an "asset" as he knows pro wrestling and more specifically, he knows Vince McMahon and his system.
That knowledge will help Jarrett against McMahon. However, Bischoff or Heyman would be even bigger gains than Cornette.
I don't see Heyman ever joining unless things go south with the resurrected "ECW brand". Even so, they'd have Heyman with an outrageous "no-compete clause" where he couldn't enter TNA for awhile[much like Lesnar].
Bischoff would be the more likely to go to TNA of the two, but, I don't see that happenin' for awhile[it if ever does].

Cornette actually knows wrestling, though. Bischoff, as much as I love the guy, hasn't proven himself in an environment where he didn't have money to get pretty much any piece of talent he wanted.
