And Rob Van Dam will make his first Intercontinental Championship defense since winning it from Shelton Benjamin at Backlash. RVD will have his work cut out for him as it will be a Fatal Fourway Match with Tornado rules against Benjamin, Chris Masters and Charlie Haas. Can RVD come out on top when facing all four challengers at once?
Who will win this?
I can see RVD retaining, but if he does, I don't see him winning the WWE Championship at One Night Stand.
I think Benjamin will take it back personally. Because his match with RVD was just to give RVD something to do until ONS. I think Benjamin will take it back.
I doubt Haas will win after returning so soon. But the IC title would make his feud with Benjamin much more interesting.
I don't want Masters to win. I doubt he will, but who knows.
What do you think?

This is the perfect place for RVD to lose the WWE Intercontinental Championship without being pinned or submitting (which chould damage his credibility heading into ONS2). Putting the belt back on Shelton Benjamin seems a bit redundant, and Masters doesn't really have anyone to feud with sans Carlito, and that really doesn't need the IC Title involved.
Charlie Haas winning makes the most logical sense, in my opinion. You have his budding feud with Shelton Benjamin, plus you have Matt Striker when his program with Eugene has been won.
The fans are really starting to buy into Haas. Putting the IC Title around his waist may be the thing that actually gets him "over".

RVD will win. RVD hits the Five-Star on Benjamin while Masters has the Masterlock cinched in on Haas. The ref counts RVD's pin instead of checking to see if Haas passed out.

I can see Carlito interfering and Haas pinning Shelton.
Scenario:
Masters has the masterlock on Haas. RVD breaks it up, then gets T'Boned by Shelton. Then Masters gets Shelton in the masterlock. Carlito runs in and hits the backbreaker. As Shelton regains his feet, Haas hops up and hits his finisher and wins.
This would get the IC title off RVD.
Further Carlito - Masters Feud.
Further Haas - Benjamin feud with Haas pinning Benjamin again.

No, RVD will win. Its still too early for Van Dam to start the ECW stuff. If he loses the title, he'll either be in limbo until the ECW program really kicks off or he'll just get a rematch which he won't win, further damaging his cred.

I see Masters winning. Don't know why, but it seems like the logical outcome.

I would like to see Shelton Benjamin get it back by cheating. They should really push a 3-way feud between RVD, Benjamin, and Haas. While I think Charlie Haas has improved since coming back, I don't think he's over with the casual fan yet. Giving him the title still would seem random and a fluke. Having RVD hold the Intercontinental Title would give him less direction then having him actively chasing something. Also, RVD gives respectability to Haas, to set him up for a future Intercontinental run when he gets more over.
Besides, Shelton Benjamin is the fucking man.

I seriously cannot see RVD retaining. He's obviously gonna be occupied with the WWE Title situation leading up to the ONS PPV. I think the whole ECW thing will start tonight and RVD will lose the IC belt tonight, then start the ECW stuff and WWE Title buildup.
Besides, I seriously doubt WWE will keep on with the Edge/HHH/Cena title picture. RVD will probably interject into the picture and it would make more sense to have Van Dam start the build. In my opinion, WWE normally fails in this area; PPV build. They wait until last minute and it shows. I don't think they will make this mistake with the ECW ONS PPV.
Haas would be the most logical choice as IC Champ.

Masterpiece's time tonight I think.
I would like to see Shelton or Haas win the title, but I think that RVD SHOULD win.

While it might not be something TPWW would like, I can actually see Masters winning. If Masters doesn't win, RVD retains.

I actully wanna see Masters win, I've been a mark for him ever since I saw him live at a house show last year, plus at NYR this year.
