World Wrestling Entertainment's 24/7 Video on Demand service has inked a deal with Comcast to begin airing this summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The largest clearance for the service to date in the United States, this will make 24/7 available to 10 million Comcast digital cable customers in tons of major markets. I would expect an official press release will be sent out shortly.

I have Comcast, but not the digital cable. Might be worth the switch if you can access the whole library. Though most of the WWF stuff is likely blurred out.

YESSSSS!! It's about fucking time they come to Comcast. Since I can't have DirecTV in my apartment (they don't want the dishes installed...idiots), Comcast is my only choice, and this news rocks. :D

It's Comcastic!

Paul Zimmerman reporting. ... Today I got Comcast cable installed but had to go to the main office to pick up a DVR box. While I was there I asked if they had any additional info on WWE 24/7, the lady was very helpful and seemed to actually take her job seriously. She looked up an email she knew she had gotten on it in the last couple of days and the target time frame for it to be available is Late Summer/Early Fall, and the price will be $7.99. Whether that is just the price in Jacksonville or the entire Comcast community will obviously remain to be seen.

I just read a forum post about the service and it seems pretty good. Apparently the programming changes monthly, but it has a bunch of good shit. You can watch full matches, full shows, full DVDs, old Coliseum Home Videos, etc.

I know Howard Stern's On-Demand service is about $14, so this is awesome news. I'll drop $8 a month in a heartbeat for that shit. :D
