Alright...I was watching the trailer for Miami Vice when the way the camera was reminded me of the newere version of Rollerball.....dont ask why it reminded me of it...it just did...
Anyways...that 15 minute scene where they are driving in the car and the whole thing is in Night Vision popped into my head...and I was thinking...WTF were they thinking...
I honestly thought the scene was just messed up due the theater...wasnt untill I watched it on DVD later on that I realized that it actually was the movie....
Are there any other scenes in movies that made yall go WTF were they thinking?

The mirror stabbing scene from Donnie Darko.
I have dissected that movie left and right, up and down, and still can not figure out any signifance to it aside from personal speculation from other people. Closest thing I can figure out is that Frank was torturing him, so he thought stabbing the reflection in the eye would kill him. That, or he was just sort of...highlighting...the area that Frank had an injury to.
That, and Frank, although awesome (as evidenced by the Frank posters/figures/etc all over my room), gives me the creeps worse than ANYTHING I have seen. Ever. Still love him though. :D

in the King Kong remake where they go on a small boat from the ship to the shore. they used CGI and it totally looked like shit. it totally reeked of laziness. why in the fuck didnt they just use live action?
the deer scene in The Ring Two.
the entire rest of the movie in The Ring Two.

I haven't seen it yet (but will get it on DVD), but the director's cut might be helpful there. I heard it's more like a totally different film because it makes Donnie Darko come across as a different person or summit psychological like that.

Computer graphics might've been cheaper, and/or they may have been on a time constraint.

Also, the Ring Two sucked ass.
I'm hard pressed to figure who was smoking the worse crugs--The makers of that, or the makers of White Noise.

I saw this film a few days ago actually that had some of the worst dialogue ever. So I was flipping through the channels, and found this typical straight to TV B-Movie, where the good guy was chasing the bad guy through the stereotypical underground military base or whatever... There must have been the usual bomb about to explode or something because this is what happened:
Good guy: If you kill me, we'll all die!!!
Bad guy (In typical bad guy voice): Ha ha! No... if I kill you... YOU'LL die.
Like WTF?! That had me laughing so hard. Who the hell comes up with that shit?

Oh no; MORTAL KOMBAT ANNIHILATION.
*After Jade's betrayal*
Liu: "How could you do this?"
Jade: "It was soooooooo easy." (Thunder cracks)
*Raiden is resurrected by the Elder Gods*
Raiden: "...Was I dead?"
*Katana sees her mother alive*
Katana: "You're alive."
Sindel: "Too bad YOU... will die."
*Scorpion grabs Kitana (Who's all of a sudden the distressed damsel)*
Scorpion: "SUCKERS!"
Well that last one was actually cool; but Scorpion is always cool. He got away with being an Asian ninja yelling in english 'Get Over Here!'

Lol. Come to think of it, the dialogue in that film was terrible.
But James Remar is the man!

From that epic movie Champions:
The scene with Ken Shamrock, in his fighting gear (Gloves, trunks, kneepads, and boots), shooting people with a machine gun. I just laughed my ass off.

That scene from Lethal Weapon where Mel Gibson seperated his shoulder then puts it back into place infront of all the policemen. I thought to myself " Wow Mel Gibson can seperate his shoulder and put it back into place. Good to know just incase he has a gun pointed at him or something" worst scene ever.

Since you mentioned Miami Vice, and this is off topic, but does anyone else hate the way Colin Farrell acts, or the lack of acting? It's like all he does is pose.

Actually, I had no problem with that scene because, when he was thrown in the ocean with a straight jacket on later in the move, it was how he ultimately got out of the situation alive.
Now, Worst Scene Ever... "Slammed". Tiny 'Zeus' Lister spanking it to a mail order bride catalogue. Enough said.

He's got a huge cock. What do you expect?
There was this really long scene in Star Wars... I think it was called "The Phantom Menace." That was pretty bad.

Cake Scene in Spiderman 2
Quite a few scenes from the Star Wars prequels, whilst visually they're all great, the dialogue is just...Ugh, like you'd get better writing on an American Soap.

I think the next scene, "Attack of the Clones" was an even worse one.

The rest wasn't bad, except for the whole incest scene in the fifth act. WTF man? Seriously.
