Agreed. It was different and the WWE seemed to be putting a lot of effort into it, and then they seemed to just give up and forget about it. Then he became second fiddle to Piper, and he was done.

I agree on the first point. I don't know what kind of money MMA fighters make, so I'm not gonna argue the second point.

Anyway, the picture is probably from the time from when he first stopped taking steroids. The excess hormones become fat very easily and all that muscle shrivels up unless the guy's exercise regimen is stepped way up.

So if what Gohan says is right, then he's lost the fat since then.

1) I'm fairly certain that was one of O' Haire's first non wrestling fights (I.e after he'd finished with WWE)

and

2) That was boxing, he's more of an MMA fighter (not that it's really that big of an excuse)

If you listen at the beginning the announcer says he has a MMA record of 19 wins. Plus, just by looking at him in this fight you can tell that the said picture of O'Haire looking scraggly and out of shape appears to have been taken at this event as well.
