When news got out that Nick Dinsmore was going to play a retard....the whole thing wasn't as bad as people thought it would be
When news broke out that "Teh Boogeyman" was coming to WWE, people shat on the idea, but ended up loving it
Same goes for The Spirit Squad
As for the OJ/Big Vito bi-sexual angle, this is the perfect time for Kane Knight to officially come out of the closet. :naughty:

Eugene got old fast. Nick Dinsmore is probably dead inside.
Boogeyman is no longer interesting. Do something new, get a new gimmick or get the hell off my tv.
The Spirit Squad is the goods. They all pull off the gimmick so well. Dunno if the the cheers are intentionally out of synch, but they manage to come together as a group while keeping their respective personalities.

Eugene is getting old very fast[perhaps a heel turn?]
Boogeyman is just sick and that whole thing must've been a side effect of Vinnie Mac's nightmare[or just a crappy rip-off of the movie with the same name ;) ].
Spirit Squad is irratating as hell and they suck. Why do they even still allow them in main event calibur matches?
That brings us to the Vito/OJ thing. Just from the onset of this angle, it seems horrible. Just when we thought SmackDown couldn't get any worse, they use this......

I was entertained by the Boogeyman for all of 2 weeks. That got old fast, even with my ADD.
I was entertained by Eugene like maybe once. I feel sorry for Nick Dinsmore.
I was entertained by the Spirit Squad...Well, never.
But yeah. I guarantee 80% of this board will be all over it.

The problem with the Spirit Squad is that they weren't meant to get over. They got themselves over and instead of drawing it out, WWE immediately tries to milk the life out of them and thus making people hate them within weeks and not in the good heat way. They did the same thing with Eugene. He really could have been something (not a world champ or anything) but the second they saw him getting over, they threw him in main event angles with Triple-H and it killed his heat.
Eugene - Oh, this will suck! - Eh, it's pretty good! - Okay, I'm sick of it now.
Boogeyman - Oh, this will suck! - Eh, it's pretty good! - Okay, I'm sick of it now.
Spirit Squad - Oh, this will suck! - Oh, this DOES suck! (At this stage now)

Seriously, I don't even have enough input on this angle so far to even judge it. I mean, last week, there was an implication that Vito had been seen in drag, I haven't watch this week (Or read spoilers), so if it advanced, I'm unaware...
...They'll probably make it stupid, but I'll wait until it sucks before I say it does. I'm not afraid to be wrong about something as stupid as a wrestling angle,. gay or not.

Eugene's heel turn will most likely involve him getting some type of head inpact that magically turns him from retard to intelligent scheming villain. His 'relation' to Sleazy E will be bought up as a explanation for his 'evil blood' taking over his 'innocence' (this is the same company that bought us Katie Vick).
OR:
He breaks out of character saying he was acting the whole time (=The Ringer) to get the oppertunity but now he hates the fans and crap. They can also involve Uncle Eric by name by saying "He's alot like his uncle after all!"
Boogeyman was cool for a month, but theatrics go so far. Kane, Undertaker, Goldust, The Hurricane, and all the other cartoon characters had to give a good match sometime. Boogeyman's yet to deliver.
I didn't like the Spirit Squad at first. Yes, now I'm kissing their asses. But an angle with Triple H and HBK inside of a year? Does the WWE ever think 6 months ahead let alone a year or two? The Year Long Superstar Syndrome is killing wrestling slowly but surely.
The bi thing? Didn't they do that with Billy and Chuck?
