Tag Teams Right Now *Possible Spoilers*

Well with the break up of MNM at Judgement Day that leaves us with very few Tag Teams.

Raw: The Spirit Squad are the Tag Champs but is there any other teams to challenge them? Looks like they would have to put 2 guys together on the fly. Who would it be?

Smackdown: London and Kindrick are the Champs now and the only other team I know of on SD is Gymini? If they set up a feud between those two teams seeing that Gymini have'nt been around all that long that would be very lame IMO.

TNA: America's Most Wanted are the best tag team in wrestling right now IMO.

AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels couldn't get the belts and I guess the winners of the Team 3D/James Gang feud will go after the belts next.


Are there any other teams I am forgetting? Thoughts?

I have a feeling The Basham Brothers will fill the void left by MNM on SmackDown!. Brian Kendrick & Paul London vs. The Basham Brothers? That is tag team sweetness right there.

On RAW there is Goldust & Snitsky. They won't likely hold the belts, but they can be used to put over teams like Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch. The Highlanders are set to debut soon. Put them on RAW as a face team. There is also the possibility of a Val Venis & Viscera reuninion when Val is ready to come back.

I wouldn't worry too much about tag team wrestling in the WWE. Well, maybe on RAW.

The WWE doesn't ever seem to worry about tag team wrestling, thats for sure. Smackdown's division has picked up as of late, but now they lost another team, so we'll see what happens. Hopefully they can keep the new champs featured on Smackdown. Raw's division has been lost since Kane and Big Show won the titles, and basically just used them as prop. Hell, it was probably lost even before then.

I liked TNA's divison for a while, as they had a few feuds going on amongst tag teams, but how many of them are really good. Team 3D and the James Gang is aging and getting stale. I love America's Most Wanted and how they have been elevated. They still have some challengers, but I assume the big blowoff to their feud with Team 3D will be when they finally drop the titles.

Does anyone know how long they have held them?

Agreed. I don't know why everyone is against them as Tag Champs. Sometimes thrown together teams work. Styles & Daniels don't have a tag team name, sure, plus they have singles careers, but neither is doing anything relevent at the moment, so why not have them feud with America's Most Wanted.

AMW vs. Team 3D has no steam left. They played with that feud for a while, and it pretty much went nowhere. AMW vs. S+D (an addition symbol almost looks like a "t", how awesome) is still pretty fresh. You can then have Team 3D get in StD's noses about how they should have been the ones to dethrone Harris & Storm. That is a pretty intense tag team feud right there. Before you go to town with that, though, I still think they should have a program between StD and Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. Bring back AARS under Jim Cornette, who can claim they are a top team and their abilities should transcend their suspension.
