Get the fuck out of here...

Though - it kind of makes sense... with Batista returning and Henry being the one who took him out...

But dude... Mark Henry as World Heavyweight Champion?

I think it might be the storyline simmilair to the one Cage and Abyss had recentily.

Lol my mate who help make me a smark all those years ago just messaged me saying how he was crying when he found out Henry was champ

Until I see evidence of this I refuse to beleive he is the champ

SmackDown! is dead if this is true. When I say "dead", I mean the casket is welded shut, it's been filled with concrete, buried in the ocean and had a ship sunk on it.

I'm still a little skeptical as well, but if he Henry did in fact win the belt, this can be an all time low point for the WWE.

Live Audio Wrestling.Com reports....

MAJOR NEWS COMING OUT OF THE "SMACKDOWN" TAPINGS LAST NIGHT IN BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA. DO NOT CONTINUE TO READ AS THIS REPORT CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THIS WEEK'S SHOW.

Two major title changes went down on Tuesday night at the "Smackdown" tapings with Bobby Lashley defeating JBL for the U.S Title and in the main event Mark Henry winning the World Title from Rey Mysterio.

The reason behind both changes is that JBL has a badly injured back and will be out of action for the next 3-months (this is not the reason he lost at "Judgment Day" as there were other reasons for Rey keeping the title).

Mysterio does need knee surgery, but it is not a given that he will be getting it right away as "Smackdown" is so depleted right now as last night they also did an injury angle to explain Chris Benoit taking time off due to a shoulder injury, there is no target for his return.

They did the leave door open for a possible "disputed" finish on "Smackdown" as the match was never announced as a title match but Henry left with the title, so they could continue with the story that Mysterio's belt has been taken, but he's still champion as it's not confirmed that Mysterio is going for knee surgery.

Batista and Randy Orton will both be back in in the next 3-weeks.

So either way, from that report, Henry is at least going to be holding, defending, and acting like the champion. For fuck's sake.

Although, if he DID win, they can always do a Henry/Batista feud. At least that would get the title off of Henry, but that would more than likely happen at the GAB, so more than a month of Henry as champion.

Then, if Batista wins, he can feud with Booker going into SummerSlam.

That's a video of SmackDown! this week, and includes Henry/Benoit and Mysterio/JBL.

So Henry winning is completely false unless that's a neatly modified video.

The only information available on wwe.com is that Sho Funaki has suffered a concussion during the Velocity taping.

Further to that I found complete spoilers on gerweck.net that coincide with the video you found... Henry wrestled Benoit and JBL wrestled Mysterio... I posted the spoilers in the Smackdown Spoilers Thread

World Titles like NEVER change hands on SD, so I really doubt they'd waste one by crowning MARK HENRY out of all people as champion.

I was almost happy to see Mark as a WHC. Rey can beat JBL, Orton, Angle... but he loses to argued, the worst wrestler in WWE? That definatly kills what little cred Rey had left, and made me smile. Plus Henry would have lost to Booker, Batista, or someone else not far down the line.

Recent controversy has required clarification: Mark Henry never beat Rey Mysterio for the WWE championship. While it is true that he is currently WWE champion, it is not the result of a title match. The incident started when Mark, Rey, and several other superstars were at a bar after the Smackdown! Taping, and Mysterio bet Henry that he couldn't fit the whole belt in his mouth. Henry won the bet, but the belt and half of Rey's left arm were inadvertantly swallowed. WWE officials have ruled that Henry is WWE champion until the belt passes.

Judgment Day fallout
May 26, 2006

Somehow, some way, Rey Mysterio defeated JBL at Judgment Day and his dream ride as World Champion will continue. What will the biggest underdog champion in sports-entertainment history have in store for SmackDown this week? And how will JBL handle being defeated by a man he had no respect for?

Also this Friday night, the official coronation for the new King of the Ring, Booker T, will be held. For weeks Booker T has been saying that when he won the King of the Ring, he would officially and legally change his name to King Booker. Will the new King follow up on his promise?

And the Oscar-award-winning hip hop group Three 6 Mafia will be in the house. When Mark Henry takes on Chris Benoit, they will perform Henry's new entrance theme "Some Bodies Gonna Get It" in front of the fans in Bakersfield, Cal. The song is also on the new Wreckless Intent CD that is available everywhere now.

Plus, Native American Warrior Tatanka returns to SmackDown following his initiation into the Lakota Tribe.

Don't miss all this and much more Friday night on SmackDown at 8/7 CT on UPN.

Can anyone else see them just gradually merging Raw and Smackdown now ECW's back ? its a question thats been asked a million times before but with JBL going to Raw it signals Vince basically willingly destroying Smackdowns main event scene.

Then again .. Vince has been destroying Smackdowns main event scene for ages:shifty:
