Eric Crouch playing QB in the CFL this season

I guess he is giving up on his attempts to make it on an NFL at another position besides QB. He got picked up by Toronto and hopefully I'll be able to catch a few of his games. I think he'd be a great QB for the CFL game, if he is able to get out and run he should be able to tear shit up.

Too bad for that guy. I think he's a heck of a weapon when used at the QB position, but no NFL offenses run that shit.

He'd get destoried if he tried playing QB in the NFL with the same style he used in college. He is better off going to Canada I think, he already has money so it is not like that is a HUGE issue (Pretty sure he got a nice signing bonus when he was a 3rd round pick by the Rams) Plus his style of play will really fit the CFL style of play, if he still has "it" (hasn't played QB for a few years now, was over in the NFL Europe playing safety I believe) he could really put on a show up there.

Crouch is better suited for the option offense than Young. Young is good out in space, that what makes him dangerous. Being an option QB you are more of a running back basically, I think Young would be better off in the offense he ran at Texas (the spread) that is why I think Young will struggle in the NFL.

Reggie Bush would be the perfect option QB though

Yeah, QBs can definitely pull that shit in the CFL.

Brad Smith can run the option. He isn't great at selling it, but he has the best footwork of any of those style QB's. Too bad the arm was never there.
