I agree.

The only time I have cried in like the last 10 years was when this song was played at a mate of mines funeral

toxic rooster
06-10-2006, 09:57 AM
Yeah, I had the misfortune of that as well.

Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven is a sadder song to hear at a funeral. Waterworks-o-rama.

and pretty much all other rap and hiphop songs because I find them all sad and annoying.

also Watson if you thing anything sung by Johnny Cash is bad ,either, you don't much care for any country music because he was the best country singer or that you have poor opinions toward one of the best singers of this century.

NeanderCarl
06-28-2006, 08:53 PM
Jeff Buckley- Hallelujah

also, Hayley Westenra- Never Say Goodbye, holds a personal sadness for me (again, from being played at a funeral)... I can't listen to more than the first 20 seconds without having to turn it off.

Despite having no lyrics, "Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber is probably one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. There's something very tragic about it.

Linkin Park's "My December" holds some emotion from personal experiences.

Eyedea - Bottle Dreams.....its a sad song and eyedea tells it so poetically so you have to listen to the song over and over again

Another one is Immortal Technique's You Never Know....great story telling and somewhat of a surprising ending.

El Fangel

Actually I don't think I got what this thread was about I was under the impression it was saddest song ever to listen to, and not something like sad song that makes you cry.

Sorry if I messed up peoples minds

But some songs that make you feel sad

Hurt- Johnny Cash ( When played at Eddies Memorial It almost made me cry)
Broken - Seether and Amy Lee
Nothing Else matters - Metallica
When Im Gone- 3 Doors Down
My Sacrifice - Creed
My Immortal - Evanescense (spelling)

These songs for some reason get you to think about people, who have passed away, friends you haven't seen in awhile, arguements with friends etc, but this list is a small one compared to what I could list.
