Saw Down yesterday

At the Astoria in London. And they were IMMENSE. First time ever in Europe I believe, and they went pretty much 2 hours, which was a surprise, especially considering they only have 2 albums' worth of material to work off. Although the amount of time Phil spent talking to the crowd probably ate up 15 minutes, maybe more. And there were 3 encores (1 song apiece) and the gaps between probably ate up another 10.

Great, great gig though. Crowd were rabid, they nailed all the songs, Phil is on another level as a frontman as far as having the crowd in the palm of his hand. I never got to see Pantera live so seeing him and Rex was a particular highlight for me.

So yeah, discuss the greatness of Down, live or otherwise.

I wanted to see Down in Manchester, but I was and still am skint. :(

Lets hope they do a new album, it is about time they did one.

Gonna catch them at download, saw damageplan a couple of years ago so to a point i would of seen each member of pantera perform :(
