Did anybody else get tired of the constant bickering between King and Tazz on WWE vs ECW?

I understand that they're trying to create a feud, and make it intense (Yeah, I have less than 200 posts and I know that wrestling's staged...wassupwidat?), but the constant back and forth seemed to take away from the supposed importance of the situation.

I for one would have much rather they have a brawl near the beginning and leave it at that.

It was difficult to follow the action as they kept arguing and cutting away from the ring. I for one hope they never EVER allow four guys to try and commentate on one match...it seemed like a clusterfuck! I wanted king and Tazz to brawl to the back so Joey Styles could show JR how to call a decent wrasslin' match.

Anywho...anyone else have any thoughts, or am I making too big a deal out of nothing?

it was WWE vs. ECW... they helped to reiterate the point... bickering is the best way to do it. plus their brawl was pretty intense. The little semi-shoots between them made the night better. I don't know what show you were watching...

I was trying to watch WWE vs ECW, but they made it difficult. Especially during the Tommy Dreamer vs Edge match.

Of course I know what they were trying to achieve, but it was like Tazz vs King was the only feud worth talking about or hyping.

Four guys can not call a match together.....it's just wrong.

Their arguing, their intesnity was perhaps the best part of the show IMO. They managed to contrast commentary styles and I think add to many of the matches, including some of the shitty ones.

Yes, the commentary took away from the matches.

But why doesn't it bother me? Because the matches were so bad, the commentary was more entartaining anyway.

Some were. RVD's match was good and so was Sabu's. All the rest was terrible.

Oh, and Big Show trabing sides was awesome. He'll be a great addition.

I enjoyed the fight they had, it seemed so real, I almost think it was, even though it was planned I'm thinking they took it further than they were meant to at the very least.

I love Sabu, but damn he needs to not ever wrestle another WWE guy ever again. It was like he litteraly had no idea where to go next.

The bickering and argueing between the commentators, I thought was great. I'm not surprised if Lawler and Taz did stiff each other, they had a legitimate beef at one point, and I doubt it's ever gotten any better. Especially after Lawler went over on Taz that one time.

Quite frankly I'm not sure how they even convinced Lawler to do this match. I think you would have to fear for your safety considering Taz has probably wanted to smash his face in for almost 10 years. Then again, Lawler is an old school kind of guy, he may not look it but he's tough.

Back on topic though, I thought it did alot to add to the over all wwe vs ecw deal, but yes, did take a bit away from the Dreamer/Edge match.

I also find it a bit funny that Dreamer used the dvd on Edge, which is illegal by WWE standards, and Mick used a piledriver on him at WM, which is also illegal by their standards. Just an interesting thing I noticed...

Yeah, he knocked the Hell out of him. The thing that cracked me up was Lawler calling Tazz an "assshole" before he even got the headset off and then right before they started brawling Tazz yelled "Come On, Motherfucker!". That was priceless. I wonder if it's on YouTube yet?

I doubt that's true. Lawler worked a show here in Lenoir, NC a couple of months ago for SCW. He wrestled Dusty Rhodes and he had his girlfriend with him and I'm quite sure she's alot older than 19. She looks it anyway.

Tazz and Lawler is a pretty good feud. If they're completely fine with each other and harbour no ill feelings, they're doing a damn good job. If this is going to be a real wrestling match, perhaps Lawler and Tazz are putting in a lot of effort to make this seem real. Or maybe they're just not on the same page and "pretending" to hate each other is easy.

Remember though, Lawler can still be a great heel. He hasn't been in years, but he's still got it in him.

I don't know if it will be a real wrestling match with a lot of actual wrestling moves. Even if it's not, it'll probably be one sweet fight. You know they'll probably put some extra swing with a chair, sign, bat, or whatever shot.
