Yep, today is Aaron Sorkin's 45th birthday. The greatest television writer in the world today. Creator of the single greatest half-hour television series ever "Sports Night" as well as the 8549176320-time Emmy-winning series "The West Wing." Plus, he wrote A Few Good Men, Malice, and The American President, which weren't too shabby, either.
Plus, he has a new series in the works for NBC that's debuting in the fall. "Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip" starring Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Sarah Paulson, Nathan Corddry, D.L. Hughley, Steven Weber, Amanda Peet, and a whole bunch more.
So, yeah, now that I've got that bit of hero worship out of my system, I guess I should mention that today is also the birthday of a few other Hollywood people like Johnny Depp, Natalie Portman, and Michael J. Fox.
