I figured this belonged in this forum. I'm watching a recorded (on DVR) episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit ("Identity", 2005), and basically they had a 15-year-old kid (male) play both Logan Stanton....and his sister, Lindsey.

Anyone else think that's more than a little...weird? At first I figured Reiley McClendon was a girl and was just really good at playing a boy. Then I IMDB'ed his name and saw it was a male. Kinda seemed odd to me.

Have there been any other cases of under-18 male actors playing a serious (non-comedic) female role?

Yeah, so you had no problem when you thought it was a girl playing a boy, but the other way is wrong to you?

Which I suppose is preaching clear and indignant moral superiority, but still.

What, you think it's weird that it's more normal for a girl to dress up like a boy, than it is for a boy to dress up like a girl? I'm not saying it's normal, just more so.

Oh, I guess I offended Kane Knight by mentioning crossdressing in a not-so-positive light. Sorry, KK, you can put your bra back on.
