View Full Version : Best p2p program?
I haven't had a p2p program on my comp for a year now, but I'm getting annoyed at trying to find single songs on torrents/websites etc.. so what does everyone here use?
I want something that can detect corrupted MP3s, and has at least some sort of protection from the RIAA (i know nothing is 100% likely to keep you safe, but yeah at least some protection) and of course other stuff that makes a good p2p program.

Ares is pretty good. I've had it for over a year now, and have yet to ever find one corrupted file. And as far as I know, the RIAA hasn't had any hands in with Ares.
I use Limewire Pro for single songs. It always finishes in less then 10 seconds so I don't complain. It also helps you filter out possible protected files and I have yet to get a corrupted file.
You can download Pro from a torrent.

I hate using limewire. The mp3 quality is shit most of the time. I miss soulseek so much. :'(
Damn you G4Tech TV.

LMAO, you're kidding, right? I haven't even touched the Kazaa network in years. I kept getting shit MP3s with just noise and shit and was told that if I shared those files (which were apparently plants), I could be tracked. I use LimeWire and it's never failed me. 1,200 songs and counting.

I tried Ares and that moved slow as Christmas. I hated it. As far as a good one I'm not sure. I'm still looking for decent P2P programs
