In North America I thinkt he most underrated sports is lacrosse. I think indoor is the better sport but the colleges in the USA offer scholarships for field. Just think, what do people like to see in sports? Fast pace, lots of action, lots of hitting, and fighting. Everytime somebody new goes to a game they're hooked. So for the NLL to be a teir 2 or 3 sport on the landscape of North American sport seems odd to me. How indoor soccer and arena football get better ratings and sponsorship dollars doesn't make sense as those are extremely terrible to watch.
What sports do you guys think don't get enough recognition or credit?

The indoor soccer league is about as small as they get, probably smaller than that indoor lax league.
In my experience with lacrosse, I find MLL really boring. It is a big long field and the guys just run up and down while holding a ball in a basket. It doesn't have the same feel as soccer where you can do things individually or where passing dictates the offense. The indoor game should be more exciting, but I've never seen a full game.

Think you mean NLL, BCWWF.
And yeah, LAX is the shit. I've had season tix to the Sting for a few years now. Too bad we couldn't do anything in the playoffs.

I agree with Rugby being underrated. Great sport.
As for lacrosse, I love the indoor game. Outdoor is very boring. Guess it may have to do with the fact that I grew up playing box lacrosse and was close but not quite good enough to play pro.

Also, it is kind of obvious that you just wanted to make a thread about how much you like lacrosse based on the following:
1. You never post in this forum
2. Your handle is "Stickman"

All I ever hear is 'Ooh, it's too complicated' or 'Why the constant stopping and starting?' and the best one, 'Pussies. Rugby players don't wear pads'.
Not much beats a pumped up NFL game</font>

I did basically want to express my feelings on that but I wanted people's opinions on the sports they feel underrated. Nothing worse than a thread that says "I love X" and that's that. Discussion is always good.
ANd only lately have I bothered with the nonwrestling forums because I haven't had time.

I'm with you two then. I used to love it in school. We played doubles in gym and my friend and I had that shit on LOCK. We couldn't be beat, literally. We would run all over the court just pulling off crazy saves smacking the birdy into peoples faces and shit. 2 legit 2 quit

Nah, no doubt in my mind that players in the NFL (probably a good number of them) use steroids. I really have nothing to base this claim off of, but when your job demands that you be as fast and strong as these guys are well into their 30's, you gotta keep up somehow.
It doesn't detract from the sport like it does baseball (well I shouldn't say detract, but more so annoy me with all the BS in the news about steroids and sports.)
