I wondered how many ppl r actually planning to go to this movie, because while it is kinda stupid, having Jack Black as the main guy (Nacho) almost makes it seem worth it...so will u b seeing it? Yes or No?

You need better choice options. I'll probably see it, but it doesn't particularly sound hilarious, just sound like it might be enjoyable.

Nacho's tag team partner reminds me of Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite
Let's put it this way: I have never liked any of Jack Black's movies and hate him as an actor. I haven't seen a movie in theaters since Batman Begins. I don't like this style of comedy. It looks fucking retarded.
Now someone save me the time of pushing the radio button and guess which my answer would be.

If someone asks me to go see I will. It'll probably be pretty stupid, but I likes me's stupids. I don't care if no one asks me to see it.

I won't waste any time. However, I'd like to get the opinion of pro wrestlers about this movie.
Is the nun played by Paz Vega?

Sadly, I think Black's an annoying cunt, but he keeps making movies I'm interested in.

Haven't seen the new Koing, but Black in a serious role sounds about as bad as Jim Carrey as Gandhi.

I have no interest in it. Tenacious D is all right, and Jack is funny in small doses (his cameo in Anchorman, for example), but I can't imagine him playing a chef that becomes a luchador for two hours could make me laugh more than once or twice.
Besides that, wrestling movies always are terrible. You would think something with so much inherent drama and comedy would have yielded one good movie. You would think incorrectly.

This looks like a movie that was meant for a DVD player and an 18 pack/massive bong rip.

I didn't have much of an interest in it at first, but I started watching Jack's video diary/podcasts from on the set and that got me interested in it.
So yes, I will probably go see it.

I'll see it, but I dont know when. I also think Jack Black is only funny in doses, but the commercials already have me hooked.

This thread got me thinking? What were some of the movies made about Wrestling other then Ready to Rumble and this movie? I can't really think of any. Documentaries aside of course like Beyond the Mat and Wrestling in Shadows..
Technically Rocky 3 is, I suppose.
And then there's No Holds Barred.

Also Lipstick and Dynamite, Slammed, Body Slam, I Like To Hurt People, Grunt, The Wrestler, and I know there are others but I can't think right now.
As far as TV, there's been The Mullets and Nikki [which her husband / boyfriend was a professional wrestler] and maybe some others.
