I think it was kinda gay. Triple H and Shawn Michaels going back to worn out gimmiks. Your thoughts my friends? The Coach bit was quite funny tho.

I am with you 100% Michaels is tried- I have never been very keen on his mic skills and HHH needs to be consumed by something. they have done a 180, HHH went from a brilliant tactician to playing pranks like a school boy. Overall Michaels is a hack that needs to go away like Flair-and I love flair it is just time to go is all. ECW needs a stand alone belt worth something, the WWE labels Raw and Smackdown need to unite and an undisputed championship story line should be created where there are two belts

To be honest, I caught the tail end of DX and the attitude era on the whole. I can see how you guys who were there can see it as worn out, much in the way the Rock was towards the end and Cena is. However, as someone who missed most of the good shit I'm enjoying this a lot and if it is kept short and sweet it will rock. Shawn Michaels needs knee surgery soon anyway and so it should be short lived, just try to enjoy the nostalgia, because all too soon they will be too old/broken to even wrestle let alone reform DX.
Off topic I expect ECW to be much better this week.

I went to the house show in Kingston, RI, on Saturday, June 17th, and I therefore got to see the REAL DX reunion before the "official" one and let me tell you, the pop they received was incredible.
I was originally against the reforming of DX, but seeing how amusing they were again, made me realize that they might be able to pull it off. But hopefully their run is short and sweet (and not long and dragged-out) and is merely a nostalgia run.
And as for ECW: so do I. I hope they improve greatly this week, and if they do, then it's a good sign -- a very good sign -- that they might succeed with this revival. Otherwise, they're a-goner.

I'm seeing this DX things as...well...smart.
You take two overly over guys, bring them into a revival of one of -- if not the -- biggest factions ever in the busines and you've got gold. Really, look at it this way: The nostalgia factor brings in the old viewers who stopped watching a few years back -- kinda like when The Underbiker became the Undertaker again. But this time, there are only 2 members of DX...so, if it's to gain the power it once had, it will need to grow, as it did before. If you put guys like Carlito or Johnny Nitro in the group, it would give them a big time boost, just like it did for Orton. Hell, you could start the difusion of the Spirit Squad by having one or two of them defect and join H and Shawn. And down the line, when DX fizzles out, the possible Shawn/H feud will bring in money -- again -- and the others will be set as up-and-coming names.
It's all business strategy. And this one, in an unsual fashion, makes a little sense. So let's just sit back and practice that old theory I like to throw around:
Watch before you bitch.

Wow. As opposed to all the fresh, original angles in WWE right now. DX might be their most creative, inspired, and original idea in a long time...What does that tell you?

I found it very entertaining...It seemed like they were having alot of fun out there with it and the two of them have good chemistry together.
So it gets a :y: from me
