I sat down with eagerness last sunday night at 10pm channel turned over to ss3 in preparation to watch ECW's return show. :)

Here we go, real wrestlin' I said to myself as the credits rolled

BUT...What I witnessed was nothing but a shambles! :(

Sky really RUINED my viewing pleasure of the show by endless adverts and promotional material, and what more, they would not let the viewer witness some of the more hardcore elements of the show, instead showing footage of women in the audience all tearfull as sandman was wacking his opponent with his CANE!

COME ON SKY! HAVE SOME SENSE HERE! you are supposed to be showing a show called extreme championship wrestling, where the wrestling is "supposed" to be voilent!

this was "supposed" to be a post watershead showing of ecw, shown at 10pm local time, yet they put on something which was so severely edited I wonder if it had originally been broadcast earlier in the week at tea-time!

THANKS SKY! THANKS FOR NUTIN'
:n:

The repeat (which i think was the following monday) had no edits in it

Oh and the main thing that ruined that show was the fact that Vince booked most of it

LMAO, you Brits have the worse luck when it comes to TV. Oh, except for the allowable toplessness.

Actually i did some math on this a while back.

Because we have to pay for all the other PPV's (which are increasing in price soon I might add) plus the cost of upgrading to sky sports to watch the 'free' PPV's

And also with the strength of the pound to the dollar and the fact we have to wait till 1am to watch it it. I don't think there's alot in it really

Actually, we get Raw live the same time as you, and we get Smackdown before you, plus we get Heat, ECW, Afterburn, Bottom Line, Experience, and numerous repeats of Raw and Smackdown during the week, so it's pretty hard to miss any WWE if you have Sky. :D

You get Heat still? I thought it was exclusively online. Hmph.

It's still on TV over here. Although WWE.com has blocked internet connections in the UK from viewing Heat online.

We sometimes get specials like the Eddie DVD or the Hogan DVD shown on Sky Sports and for a while we used to get "Classics" Like WCW from 1996 or whatever.
