here are my reviews on two movies i recently rented:

THE HILLS HAVE EYES (Remake)

i had never seen the original. what interested me in the trailers were the still shots of the mutated fetuses. that was just at the opening credits, but it was a fairly intense part of the film. over-all the movie was not bad for a horror movie. it broke conventions in that A) the young woman was raped (even most horror movies wouldnt show that), and B) the three people who (according to horror movie logic) you would think would be the first ones to die, end up being the only ones to survive the movie. the movie did start to fall apart a little for me towards the end. a lot of the deaths (of the bad guys) looked very muppet-like. so, it started off better than it ended.

SYRIANA

i had pretty high expectations from this movie, and i was basically disapointed. let me start by saying that i am on a work detail that has me 800 miles from home. at home i have a big screen and surround sound. at the moment i have a basic 25 inch Sanyo and a PS2 for a dvd player. i say that to say this - some DVDs have a louder volume than others and the volume on this DVD is very low. on top of that, most of the movie is a series of hushed conversations in dark corners, making an already confusing and hard to follow plot even more difficult. even with the volume on the television maxed out, it was difficult to hear much of what was being said, so i had to watch it twice.

the movie played out a lot like the movie, TRAFFIC,with the jumping around from location to location, but without the solid performances by the likes of Benicio Del Toro, and the black guy whos name escapes me. it had a relevant topic, but the delivery was just way to dry. seems like a movie that people are likely to praise merely to avoid seeming foolish.

and btw, George Clooney mis-casted himself into this film.

i would say this film would have made a much better documentary or docu-drama.

Wow those are some pretty short and terrible reviews. Waste of a new topic.

I found the Hills Have Eyes to be the most repulsive disgusting movie I have ever seen. I saw it in the theater and some people left. I almost left and i don't believe in leaving movies. There's horror movies, then there's utterly disgusting movies. I'm not saying this movie was bad, it's just rather disturbing.

cunt, i dont know what you were expecting, but that is my take on those two movies. i dont make a living reviewing movies, and i dont see a need for my reviews to be any longer. if you have seen either of these films, i welcome you to agree, or disagree, or say anything humorous or useful.

but my review of your post is that you are a cunt. and that if there were a contest to see who was the world's biggest cunt, you would win second place.
