Several weeks back, Mike Johnson wrote about the Madison Square Garden Network seeking to use old programming of events that took place in MSG to fill the gap left by recent sports programming losses. Well, the deal is done and the first footage will begin airing next month on 7/5. Read on!

Tom Miller sent this. ... A while back, I had sent an email to the MSG Network asking about the new "classic sports" show that they will soon be showing classic events that happened over the years at MSG. Here's their response: "Tom- thanks for the note. We recently struck a deal with the WWE that will allow us to carry classic wrestling from the 80's and 90's on MSG Network, slated to begin on-air on July 5th. Most events took place at MSG, and are quite entertaining. We are very excited about the new Vault show. The feedback has been fantastic."

Brad added this. ... I was setting up my TIVO to record Raw tonight, punched in the letters WWE and saw this show in addition to the other WWE programming. The show is called WWE at the Garden and is set to air on Wednesday July 5th on the MSG Network at 7 pm central time. The duration is saying that it will be an hour long.

That is awesome news, even though they'll probably be chopped to hell.
